Up for bid: One DeVilbiss VTX HVLP spray gun with 9 feet of hose and a Binks model 80 2qt. pressure pot. As you can see from the pictures it is used but still a very good set-up in working order. I mainly used it for dye-stains and it is hard to get all the color off it. There is some pitting on inside of the pot and the pot needs a new seal. Other than that it work good and sprays nicely. What is up for sale is a Binks 18N 5 Gallon pressure pot gel kote system used primarily for spraying gel kote on to fiberglass boats.it has a 2 Gallon catalyst pot also.I was using the system to manufacture boats. The system is in working condition but would probably be a good idea to change the lines only because the system hasn't been used in a year. Everything was flushed and cleaned before it was not being used. I'm trying to sell it now because its now sitting outside as I quit using a storage building. so offers are excepted. I got this from a estate sale where the guy was a painter. They said it did work but been sitting a long time. He did not take very good care of his stuff because he did not clean out the paint after he used it. I dont know and cant tell you if this works or not. The top dont screw down all the way i beleive it is from paint in the threads. The rubber seal is there but might need replaced. Buying this as is for parts or repair. This listing is for a used TURN KEY paint rig that is IDEAL for painting small aircraft. It consists of a Graco Pro XS2 high pressure atomization(NOT HVLP) electrostatic spray gun plus a electro-polished stainless steel 5 liter pressure paint tank. Also included are the Graco 5' high-flexibility grounded air hose that attaches directly to the spray gun and a 40' grounded high-flow air hose with high-flow quick disconnect fittings to run from the paint rig back to the shop air supply. With this setup. You do not need a separate ground wire as long as your shop air uses metal piping since the hose will serve as ground! Though this gun is well used. It was also well maintained. The fluid tip and air cap were both replaced circa 2012 with a new High Solids air cap. The electrode was also replaced at that time. You will get 2 low time ... moreconventional solids air caps and one high solids air cap. With these caps you can spray any polyurethane paint system you encounter such as Awl-Grip, Jet-Glo, Mankiewicz, DuPont Aero in either regular or high solids versions and get an amazing finish along with JAW DROPPING speed of application! When I switched to this rig from conventional high-production spray guns(Binks BBR) my paint consumption was cut in HALF. And yet my application speed went way up. You can get similar transfer efficiency and finish as a Graco Pro XS2 from the latest and best HVLP guns but those have NOWHERE NEAR the application speed! This is really important if you are painting something large like a small aircraft or a semi truck or a bus or a rail locomotive or a yacht. Bought this setup but have never gone thru it. This is a Devilbiss JGA 502 Paint Gun with 2 qt Pot and hoses. It also includes the Devilbiss Air Regulator HB 502 market on it. This setup really needs to be cleaned. Gasket on pot tank replaced, and just plain gone thru. I was able to take off the two air valves by hand and the air gauge and have placed all of the items in a USPS large flat rate box- so that's how it's being shipped.

Binks SG2-2qt Pressure Pot with spray gun
Lightly used Binks Steady Grip SG-2. 2 quart pressure pot. Model no. 80-350. Comes with vintage Binks Model 62 spray gun. Hoses, pot liner, and new lid gasket. It was purchased new in August 2005.At that time I had a new 63BSS fluid nozzle and a 363A needle assembly installed in the spray gun. It was only used a few times for automotive applications. It has not been used for about 5 years. I recently tested it and found that the regulator makes a whining noise while increasing the pressure to the pot, but stops once the desired setting is reached. Binks paint pot model 83-5668 with hoses and Binks Mach 1SL HVLP spray gun. This belonged to my father's construction company. I don't know if it works. All the parts are there. The gun has over-spray on it. But it appears to function properly. The trigger has constant spring pressure on it and returns to the off position when released. The internals of the gun and hoses are all clean. Someone cleaned out the sprayer years ago and left water in the lines. So, as can be seen in the photos, the top of the pot rusted on the inside. I cleaned off all the rust and treated it with a rust preventer(that is why it looks dark- it is dry in the photos) The rust does not appear to have penetrated under the rubber gasket/gasket groove portion of the lid. I installed a new galvanized supply pipe(that had rusted too) cleaned and reassembled the ... moreentire top-end. The pot itself, including the screw latches, are all in great shape. For someone who knows his/her way around these things, this could be a good find. I am open to offers.
