Stonechip Electronics ZX Spectrum Up for auction is ZX Spectrum re-housed in a Stonechip Electronics case. These Spectrum add-ons were quite popular back in the day because of the awful Spectrum rubber keyboard. The Stonechip case added a couple of extra features including small speakers and a volume control- but still no joystick ports. Computer powers up and works fine but there is no PSU included. Just use a regular Speccy PSU. Probably not that rare. But this is an interesting item for the avid collector of Spectrums. This is part of a large collection of vintage micro computers(mostly for the UK market) Many rare, that I'm breaking up so I will combine shipping to make the cost easier. something that doesn't very often; a camera kit that sees more than we do. the hot mirror over the camera's sensor has been replaced with a clear protective cover by kolari vision(in the usa) when the camera was new. with the infrared filters it creates infrared photos. But the two uv/ir filters included replaces the original hot mirror& the camera can take normal photographs. i'm only selling it as i don't get the time to use it for the landscapes& artistic images i had hoped for the photos of the unremarkable streetscape are raw straight out of the camera using the 50mm lens@ f5.6 converted to jpegs with lightroom(ir shots are changed to black& white. But there's no sharpening, presence or colour changes made to any of them) the first is with the uv/ir& hot mirror filters- the second with 1000nm filter, ... morethird with 850nm& fourth with the 720nm. the camera can also be used for colour shift photos, but i haven't had a chance to try them if you haven't tried infrared photography before. Teisco/Kay Spectrum vintage electric guitar.
Teisco/Kay Spectru m. A rather unusual solid bodied guitar made in Japan during the sixties or early seventies and made by the Teisco factory. This covers Kay guitars and many other names too. The body is finished in sunburst and has a very attractive black scratchplate with flower and leaf etchings in gold around the edge. This type of etching was used on some Kay models in particular. But was almost always etched in white; so this is more unusual. There are two chrome covered pickups with two. Two-way switches, and with the volume and tone controls mounted on a metal scratchplate much like that of a jazz bass. The chrome tremolo tailpiece is missing its spring and arm and is tarnished. And the bridge is a replacement. The bolt on neck is straight with good frets- twenty-one. And the headstock has a black fro n t and carries the six on a ... moreside tuners with all their ferrules.
