This is full spectrum converted Olympus E-PL1 camera. Here what has been done. Hot mirror(bluish piece of glass) was removed so full spectrum of light can rich the camera sensor. No IR filter was installed. Camera can perfectly focus on all range of distances like the unchanged camera. Camera retained(it has not been removed like others do) sensor cleaning system. How modifications affected this camera? If you will not use any filter and will be taking pictures with this camera: Inside buildings ... morethem it will be pretty much same picture as there in not much IR light inside the buildings. Outside you will have reddish hue as with any modified camera. So it is good idea to use filters outside. But that is completely up to you. Aeroflex IFR A7550 Spectrum Analyzer WORKING BUT NEEDS A MAJOR TUNE UP
I have owned this for the last 15 years It works for the most part but needs a major tune up. I took the batteries out and put a fan in its place to cool the machine. The 10 mhz crystal is off and will need to be replaced I don't know where to find them It has spent most its life unplugged or powered down when not being used. Comes with a pdf of the maintenance book for it also. Should you have questions ask I will have answers. Will include insurance and enough bubbles to be insurance claim eligible. Plan on spending some time tweaking this to make it run like new again I do not have the time or space for this project. In case the picture didn't show it there is a small crack in the front plastic but its very minor. Last thing if you don't know what this does you probably don't need one of these.
