Born March 25,1936 Includes the case instructions and motor foot control has been replaced. Beautiful condition. Virtually mint physically to my eyes. I rarely get to play with toys this pretty. The controller is quite new. The machine lights and the motor runs when the pedal is pressed, but the machine has sat in storage for some time and needs to be oiled, so you will want to either conduct your own maintenance if you feel like you know how, or take it to a sewing center and they'll get it to purr for you. It is mechanically fine based on my turning it by hand. The case has a worn handle and other typical wear to the exterior, but is otherwise fine. PERFECT FOR BRINGING ALONG TO YOUR QUILTING CLASS OR RETREAT! A vintage folding iron that is in very near mint condition. This fits beautifully in a Featherweight case- easy to take along to your quilting bee or class. The cord is in super nice condition as is the receptacle plug. This particular style of folding iron has the most positive locking system of all the vintage folding irons I have seen. Vintage Singer Sewing Machine Model 201 Cabinet Stool Access. Paperclip Decal
This is a beautifully preserved vintage Singer sewing machine. Model 201, with the"paperclip" decal. It was built in 1948, as it's serial number indicates(AH622361) It is enclosed in a very nice cabinet and it's original stool. It is electrically operated and it works very smooth. I have a video of it running which I can email if you would like to see it running. The stool top has a few spots of paint on it. As shown. The wood cabinet has minimal wear, as would be expected on an item of this age. All the original accessories and manuals are included. The machine wasn't used very much and so has retained much of it's shine and beauty! I am listing this as local pick up only. Nice Looking 1939 Singer Featherweight 221 Sewing Machine Just Serviced
Rare Mint Featherweight from 1939. These are the only featherweights to have the Singer decal on the body of the machine. They also have to fall into a certain range of serial numbers. All other years it had it on the light. This is what makes it so rare. Especially in a condition such as this. It is From my collection as I was a Singer Sewing Machine dealer 20 years ago. SINGER SEWHANDY MODEL 20 Black 1950's VINTAGE w/ Manual& Clamp- Works- Clean Up for auction is this working Singer SEWHANDY Model 20 sewing machine in black- in great shape for its age. I dates back to the mid 1950's. And was made as a child's sewing machine- NOT a toy, but rather a fully functional non-electric sewing machine. It has been tested, and everything works as it should- all the tensions have been properly adjusted and the chain stitch that it produces is nice and even. The cast iron body of the machine measures 5 3/4" high, from the base to the highest point of the body(above the needle) There are obviously protrusions that stick up a little higher than that. It also measures 7" across from the far edge of the nickel chrome stitch plate to the far end of the handle that turns the wheel. The hand crank ... morewheel(which turns easily) is 3 5/8" in diameter. It does not have its original case. But comes with the instruction manual, original clamp, seam guide/ thumb screw(attached to the stitch plate) and a packet of needles(that I assume fit the machine, since that's how it came to me) Please see all the many pix, and"supersize" them for close-up view. I am pleased to offer this beautiful 1935 Singer 221 Featherweight sewing machine with a lovely scroll face and the much desired chromed balance wheel. The serial number is AD945827 indicating a"birth date" of June 24. 1935. Two indications of it being one of the first Featherweights made are: the bottom of the base directly under the receptacle is"interrupted" the decals along the leading edge of the base run all the way to the back of the machine, then make a 90 degree turn towards the motor. This wonderful Featherweight has been put through my rigid inspection and testing and sews a super nice stitch. It is extremely smooth and quiet ... moreyet has the power to easily sew through 4 layers of new denim material(see the material in picture#1- it is what I used to properly set both the bottom and the top tensions and also check the needle bar timing and adjust it if necessary) This particular Featherweight did perform the sewing you see in the picture. Prior to selling any sewing machine I perform the following on each and every one: I Start by giving it a thorough. Deep cleaning both inside and out(to include the bobbin and upper tension areas) Next comes the lubrication process where each and every lubrication point is properly lubed including the motor bearings using Singer products and done in accordance with Singer recommendations. Then. And only then, did I start the machine up and check tensions along with needle bar timing, making adjustments as needed. Antique c1930's folding sewing table with cutout section to hold the Singer featherweight sewing machines models#221 and#222. It has a wooden top measuring 30" x 30" including steel frame. With perfectly fitting and easy to insert and remove cut-out in the top to place your featherweight machine with steel brackets underneath to hold the machine safely in place. The edging of the table and the metal legs are the original brown paint with wear as expected and the legs still have their original rubber caps, which is seldom found. There is some surface rust in different location Note: This is the earlier of production of these tables with the steel trim. Not the wooden trim with black underside like the later ones. Superb Parian c1853 Pedestal Bust of Swedish Singer Jenny Lind
A superb bust made in Britain c1853 for the Swedish singer Jenny Lind. Known as the Swedish Nightingale. She did many concerts in Britain and was very popular with the Royal family and gave many concerts at Windsor Castle and Buckingham Palace for Queen Victoria and her family. The bust is superb and stands her on a plinth/pedestal. There is no manufacturing mark that we can see but there is an identical bust without the plinth in the Top parian book"Parian Phenomenon" and dates it as 1853. It is very striking at approx 12.5 inches hes so a very substantial piece and so well sculptured. Nice face and her hair is lovely and then the lace on her dress is very defined and her off the should cloak which has like an ermine look. Here is a fantastic 327K Singer Sewing Machine that I had listed previously. It was working. But I opted to go ahead and get it serviced by a professional repairman so it will be in tip-top shape when it arrives at your door. The repairman said it seemed the machine had not been used for many years. And had only repair needs associated with disuse. It has been fully serviced and lubricated. The bobbin winder works as well. Occasionally the needle will go up and down when the bobbin is being threaded. The repairman described it as a heavy-duty. Metal, zig-zag capable sewing machine that can sew though most leather and vinyl. Most photos of the machine. Except the last showing the light is working, have been taken outdoors in afternoon light to try and show the truest color. This machine is in the original condition and is in working order albeit a little dirty. It is a family heirloom belonging to my wife's grandmother purchased new in the mid-1930's. Overall, a nice, portable sewing machine. The finish looks great- shiny black- a couple of very small chips. There are light scratches and signs of use consistent with a machine over 60 years old. The machine might need cleaning/ servicing- we don't know the last time it was done. We are not sewing machine experts, but we believe everything works as it should- would you expect less from a classic Singer Featherweight? VINTAGE WORKING SINGER 72W19 HEMSTITCH, HEMSTITCHER INDUSTRIAL SEWING MACHINE
For Auction: Singer 72W19 Hemstitch sewing machine. Serial number W206931. From what I can determine from the Singer website. This machine was manufactured sometime around 1911. The Singer 72W19 is known as of straight away feed construction and has pierces and double needle actuating device. The stitch is known as the overedge hemstitch. Having each side of the opening overseamed. the piercer divides the cross threads and the stitches collect and hold them in the form of bars or spokes, leaving the clear openings in hemstitch work for which this machine is famous. This is a beautiful machine on it's original table and drawer and working 110 Singer motor. Also included with the machine were misc. items found in the drawer including: the original owners manual(very delicate. Pages are falling out) a receipt for a repair done in 1945, old ... moretweezers. And a vintage box of wooden thread spools. There appears to be a wooden insert missing from the table top. Which would not be difficult to replicate. Also, a couple of the screws that hold the cast iron base to the wooden top aren't original. Other than that, this machine appears to be all original. Machine was lightly cleaned and oiled, and a new belt was installed before testing. It sews beautifully(see sample, which is included) This is a great find for a collector or for someone who wants to put it back in use. Power cord and plug appear to be original and will need to be replaced. Please look at all photos closely as they are an important part of the item description. Antique 1900's Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Cast Iron Stand Base Wood Pitman 27
This is a Genuine Antique Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Cast Iron Base. This dates from 1900 to 1908 and is typically found with Singer models 15-30 and 27. This version has a wooden pitman arm. It is complete and in 100% working order. The flywheel and foot pedal move with ease. The casters on the bottom spin and do not have flat spots. The paint is good. But needs some cleaning. The paint is worn on the pedal. The rest of the paint is aged with nicks, wear and a couple paint drips. It is dirty around all pivot points. It measures 22-1/8" x 12" on the top and is 28" tall. It has an 12-1/2" diameter flywheel. The main portion of the pedal measures 13" x 9-3/4" This is pick up only with cash or PayPal payment. No other options. Up for your consideration is a antique Singer wooden Puzzle box full of sewing machine attachments. I am not sure if all pieces are there. It has some tiny metal wear on some pieces. But not other damage and some varnish loss here and there. Zoom in to see. It is indented on the top in oval Patented 1889 February 19. Great art piece and very useable.
