RF Deck Needs Repair I can get a good signal at 10 GHz But thats about it very low at other frequencies. unit also looks like it phase locks OK too The Yig Oscillator seems to have enough Power also by looking at the LO out. The attenuator doesn't click when you change setting either but I dont think it is bad i think it's in the control circuitry. This is a HP 1650A logic analyzer. 80 channels. 5 clocks, 25 MHz states or 100 MHz timing. One plastic rear foot is broken off the machine. The CRT has noticeable burn but is still bright and sharp. This can be seen in the photographs. It's also got some wear from being 20 years old. Some markings and labels from previous owners, and some dried up tape residue. The machine is fully functional and passes all tests. But does not come with probes, cables, or other accessories, besides the system software disk required for operation. HP 334A Distortion Analyzer This HP 334A Distortion Analyzer has been an excellent. Accurate and reliable piece of test equipment on my work bench for last 8 years. It has had no problems at all. It is very useful for accurate calibration, adjustment or analysis of amplifier characteristics and behavior(setting bias. Making circuit adjustments, prototyping, designing, troubleshooting, etc. All functions work properly on this unit. Although the spec says that it measures harmonic distortion down to 0.1% from 5 Hz to 600 kHz. The analyzer is capable of measuring down to 0.03% I have actually seen this when probing a Class-A vacuum tube amplifier with the filter switch applied and an originating signal generator producing a very clean sine-wave injected into the circuit! The oscilloscope in the photos is being used to demonstrate that the HP334A is in good working condition.
