For sale is this Anritsu MS612A spectrum analyzer and an MS611A service manual. The spectrum analyzer is in generally good condition. All buttons and features seem to work, except that the signal is significantly attenuated(87dB in the case of the 100MHz calibration source) There may be a loose connection in the sweep circuit, sometimes it needs a slap to wake up in the morning. I do not have the time or equipment to properly diagnose what is wrong, so I am selling it AS-IS, with no warranty and no returns. As you can see from the photos the basic functionality is there and someone with the right knowledge and equipment can probably get it back up to full performance. I am including an MS611A service manual. It has schematics, waveforms, and detailed troubleshooting instructions. Its has not been recently calibrated but I do not see any problems in this regard either. Display is clear. And crisp, even though some of the photo's are a bit blurry. Enclosure is in very good shape, no dents, just a few small scratches here and there, nothing distracting. The small keyboard in the bottom left of the front panel tends to pop out on one side every now and then, I think its catch needs repair/adjustment.
