We are not positive that we are using the unit properly but the meter works and the output voltages correspond to the dial settings so We will sell the unit as being function per the way that we are testing it. Manual and Accessories The General Radio 1562 Calibrator is used to provide a known sound level output to validate the calibration of sound level meters. The calibrator comes with the original case. Adaptors for 1/2" and 1" microphones, and the original manual. The case exterior is in rough shape but the case interior is nice. The calibrator runs on a Type 226(NEDA 1600) 9 volt battery which may be difficult to find. The unit was checked out with a standard 9 volt battery and seemed to operate properly. General Radio Company. Octave Band Noise Analyzer Model 1558-BP comes in it's own case and the microphone that comes with it has it's own separate case. The Cord for charging the battery IS included and functioning. It has it's battery which accepts a charge as shown on the meter in one of the pictures. It states on the unit to charge it for no more than 18 hours. I dont know how long the charge will last. It may need to have the battery updated if it doesnt hold a long term charge. I assume this unit is in working condition. However I do not have the proper equipment to test this unit further. This is former rental equipment as shown on the yellow tags on the outside of both cases that appears to have been well taken care of. The cosemetics are in nice condition.
