Vintage Heathkit RF Signal Generator Model IG-42
This vintage Heathkit IG-42 RF signal generator serial# 095645 has been refurbished and is in good physical and functional condition. It has a frequency range of 100 KHz through 31 MHz in five bands controlled by a front panel band switch and a frequency control. I replaced the(3) filter capacitors. 7) paper capacitors, and cleaned all switches and potentiometers. All the tubes tested well within specs. I observed a good RF signal across all bands on my oscilloscope. This item is being advertised under the category of“Used” even though it may not meet all of the parameters in the original specifications for this item. Due to the age of this item. HEATHKIT TC-2 VINTAGE TUBE TESTER VG + CONDITION WORKS, NEEDS ADJUSTMENT
HERE'S A VERY NICE TUBE TESTER AT A BARGAIN PRICE. It does need some knowledgeable TLC however. As you can see this tester is in VG+ to excellent original condition. Case is fine. Roll chart exceptional. All lettering. Knobs, etc. mechanically OK. No loose switches, etc. Inside the unit is very clean and shows no signs of shop abuse, such as smoke or being left on continuously. The mystery is it will test some tubes exactly as you'd expect and some it doesn't! It may be a poor solder joint or a switch contact that I've overlooked. Moreover, I've given it a general cleaning and inspection and still haven't located the intermittent problem. As mentioned the roll chart is smooth and still very white indicating low use. The meter is in fine shape with no signs of abuse and few scratches. The transformer shows no signs ... moreof rust/corrosion and runs very cool and quiet. VINTAGE HEATHKIT FISH FINDER FLASHER 1974 BENTON HARBOR MICHIGAN
Here is a nice vintage Heathkit fish finder flasher from 1974. The unit is all solid state with metal case and measures 10 x 7 x 6 inches. I took the unit apart and cleaned the inside. It was pretty clean as it was. I tried it out with two 6 volt batteries and it woked great. The unit is very clean and comes with a 12 foot cord which fits in the front compartment of the flaser as shown in one of the pictures. A great light weight little unit for ice fishing.

Available for sale is a Heathkit tube tester. Model TC1. The unit appears to be complete(with the exception of the plastic selector knobs) and in decent cosmetic condition for it's age. VINTAGE HEATHKIT MT-1/MR-1/UT-1/AK-7/E-V 727 ORIG MIC SETUP!
I have for sale a great little AM setup- my vintage Heathkit MT-1 Cheyenne Transmitter; MR-1 Comanche Receiver; matching UT-1 Power Supply; AK-7 Speaker; original Electro-Voice 727 Mic and its optional stand and the original Heathkit Manuals for the transmitter. Receiver and power supply. Included in the auction are the interconnecting cables with their proper 6-pin Jones plugs and sockets. And also a short RG-8X jumper between the Mt-1 and MR-1. I spent some time over the past few months getting these back on the air. In the receiver. I have replaced the pesky S-Meter Zero pot which although wirewound, had several spots that wouldn't conduct, so I could never get the meter zeroed. Replaced the tubes and realigned it and it hears really well. I replaced the tubes in the Transmitter and realigned it. Not having a spare 6146. I just kept ... morethe one that was in it, and it puts out 30-40W which for a single 6146 is pretty respectable. I've had the rigs on 7290kHz in 40Meters and have received some very good audio reports. Not bad. Considering that this transmitter has controlled-carrier audio, not plate-modulated AM. Although its output on 75Meters is pretty good on my wattmeter, I haven't had any QSOs on 75 because the noise on that band is bad at night where my QTH is(NC) I have recapped the UT-1 power supply and also added a line fuse which you can see in the photo. I had the original El-Menco fused plug. But I thought it would be far better to use a modern grounding plug setup. It's a fun little AM setup. But I am selling it to make some room for other gear I want to unpack and get going once again. This is what Heathkit would have sold as the base-station setup for this transmitter and receiver. You'll note that the cabinets are bolted together. This was illustrated in the Manuals as a suggestion for mobile operation. For me, it was a matter of saving space on the shack table. Heathkit Daystrom DX-60 AM/CW Vintage Radio Transmitter "Excellent"
We purchased this at a local auction. We intended to purchase items for our own collection however as the night went on we bought more than we set out to purchase. This is one of the items. This came from one of the largest Heathkit collections ever offered in the North East. There were hundreds of items. Mostly all in pristine cosmetic condition with dust covers. Manuals and connecting cables. We will be listing more items in the future from the excess we acquired during the auction. This is a Heathkit/ Daystrom DX-60 AM/CW Transmitter. Most of you looking at this here already know what it is. This DX-60 is in exceptional condition. It had a dust cover but it was not in good enough condition to include it. It looked like it got ripped when it was being moved for the auction we purchased this at. We have powered this up slowly on a variac ... moreand have tested its basic functions. That includes tuning it up on the 2 bands that had supplied crystals in the crystal sockets. 80 and 40 meters. We tuned it up to 120ma of plate current initially and then to approx 160ma.plate current for a few seconds to take the picture. We wanted to drive it a little hard to see how it stood up to the test and it did fine. The tune up was easy and the plate dip loading was very accurate. The rig had lots of ample grid drive on tune up. The watt meter pictured is NOT part of this auction but was used to demonstrate the ability of this transmitter to develop rated RF into a dummy load. We monitored the carrier on a nearby receiver and there was no appreciable hum. This is a solid transmitter and by the looks the builder knew what he or she was doing. It is by all observed components original without modification or upgrade. All the knobs are smooth and lock into the detents. All the lights and panel indicators are working. This is about as nice of a DX-60 you will find. The pictures are a testament as to what you will be getting. Very light scuffs on the top of the cabinet with one small scratch that will touch up easily near the front.

For your consideration is this Heathkit HX-30 6 Meter SSB Transmitter that recently came from an estate. It looks to have been taken care of. With minor scratches on its cabinet. It is untested except I did plug it in for a few seconds to see the tubes start to light up. It looks pretty nice all around. The knobs have a little tarnish on them. Some came off with a wet rag, and I think a little wax may clean up the rest. I don't think it has been used in a long time, but looks to have been well taken care of. Here we have a vintage Heathkit Vacuum Tube Voltmeter. Model V-7. The meter is in very good shape. Outside is dusty, inside is very clean, with no battery damage. There are a couple of scuffs on the meter cover, but no cracks or breaks. The ac power cord has tape on the plug end as well. I cannot tell if the meter is accurate, since I do not have the probes, but it does power up when plugged in, as the indicator light comes on. Up for auction is one of my favorite tube tester the Heathkit TT1. This is Heathkits top of the line tube tester back during those days. I use this tube tester back then when I was working on tube amplifiers and now this tester is sitting collecting dust. But still use it once in a while. I did try testing the popular Sylvania 6V6 tube, Mullard 6CA7 and the GE 6550 tube and you can see the reading in the pictures. The tube chart turn smoothly, if you can not find the tube in the roll chart, it should be in the tube supplement booklet. This tube tester was calibrated 2 or 3 years ago if I remember right, it may or may not need calibration.
