Quest Sound level meter with Single Octive filter. Audiometer 9A coupler& weight plus Fluke 8060A witch can be used as a Frequency counter during Audiometric Calibration. I used one of these meters in the early 80's and it compared favorably to my 2203/1613/4144 I was amazed because we paid a lot less for the Quest kit and it didn't break down as much(meter neck problems threads stripped or jammed) and when we sent it in to Anaheim(after a while no longer in business) we were always told it needed a new 4144 and the charged us to repaint it $400.00,$ 1100.00 for new microphone. These meters are very rugged and reliable. Everything in the pictures is included hand held meter can be used for frequency measuring. I have chart with correction factors for 6Kand 8 K but it has a flat response otherwise. The corrections on 6 and 8KHZ ... moreare less than 2db. The ANSI tolerance for Audiometers at 6K and 8KHZ is +/ 5DB.Warrantied to not be DOA but can be returned 14 days from date received. This has not been tested so condition is unknown. The cylinder is a calibration device that had two nine volt batteries in it. The leads need to be replaced. Nothing is known about the insides of the meter. That's up to you. This would make a great gift to your favorite sound engineer who thinks 11 really is a setting on his amps. Made in Redwood City California in 1971 this meter was right there at the beginning of what would later Silicon Valley. Snap it up. There just aren't many of these around.

This Decibel meter is in excellent used condition. The manual is dated January 1966. Even includes the factory calibration card. There appears to be a hairline crack in the left upper dial(hard to see in photos) Untested. But presumed to be working. Came out of a factory, and was probably used to measure industrial noise levels. The leather case is in good condition, the unit appears to be in good condition, and the manual is present, but does show some wear. No Reserve Auction! General Radio Model 1565B hand held sound level meter with a 1567 sound level calibrator. Meter is capable of measuring level A. B, or C. Both come with a soft protective case, and the set comes with a hard shell carrying case. Complete with manual dated 1972. Unit works fine. The only problem is that the battery cover on the meter will not stay shut, so I keep it closed with a piece of duct tape. This is a great tool to have on the factory floor as a guideline for compliance.
