This Bruel& Kyaer combo needs a little TLC so is sold in AS IS condition for parts or repair. The 2139 sound meter has a bad battery cover so previous owner was using tape to keep it shut. I used one of these meters in the early 80's and it compared favorably to my 2203/1613/4144 I was amazed because we paid a lot less for the Quest kit and it didn't break down as much(meter neck problems threads stripped or jammed) and when we sent it in to Anaheim(after a while no longer in business) we were always told it needed a new 4144 and the charged us to repaint it $400.00,$ 1100.00 for new microphone. These meters are very rugged and reliable. Everything in the pictures is included hand held meter can be used for frequency measuring. I have chart with correction factors for 6Kand 8 K but it has a flat response otherwise. The corrections on 6 and 8KHZ ... moreare less than 2db. The ANSI tolerance for Audiometers at 6K and 8KHZ is +/ 5DB.Warrantied to not be DOA but can be returned 14 days from date received. Up for auction is a used Quest Technologies SoundPro DL-2 Sound Level Meter with a QC-10 Calibrator. Both units are in good physical condition with just some light scuffs on the SoundPro and some dents in the calibrator. Both units power on. The SoundPro reacts to sound level changes and all of the buttons work. The Calibrator makes and noise and the SoundPros bars jump around. This is a Larson Davis 712 SLM(Sound Level Meter) along with a CA150 Sound Level Calibrator. Both components are in very good condition with barely any signs of use. These were older units that show calibrations from 1999/2000. But they both function perfectly according to my tests. Both units are powered by a single 9-volt battery each(included) The calibrator properly generates tones at 94/114db and the main SLM unit can detect and respond to those signals. After calibrating to the main unit with the calibrator. It was able to provide readings within 1db of the measurement source. It comes with several accessories and documentation. Manual and Accessories The General Radio 1562 Calibrator is used to provide a known sound level output to validate the calibration of sound level meters. The calibrator comes with the original case. Adaptors for 1/2" and 1" microphones, and the original manual. The case exterior is in rough shape but the case interior is nice. The calibrator runs on a Type 226(NEDA 1600) 9 volt battery which may be difficult to find. The unit was checked out with a standard 9 volt battery and seemed to operate properly.
