Heathkit Signal Tracer. Model# IT-12. Works great. There are controls for on/off. Audio level, noise, speaker on/off. It has an eye tube. This can be used to repair radios, amplifiers, ect. All switches, tube sockets and controls have been cleaned. Tubes replaced as needed. Includes a good probe and power cord. This was powered up slowly using a variac to reform filter capacitors. Shows a little age but is in overall very good condition.

Vintage WWII(?) Signal Tracer, 105-125 V.A.C., 50-1600 C.P.S.
For sale is a vintage Signal Tracer. TS-673/U. I am assuming it was used during WWII, since it was packed away in my late father's attic with lots of other radio equipment from WWII. Dad was a Radio School Instructor in the Army Signal Corps, and this was part of a load of equipment that he brought back after the war. At least this piece of equipment is labeled as to what it is! The numbers on the bottom of the unit are F16-A-27109-5501, and the letters MPF. I have no idea how it was used, and I have not tested it, so am selling it as-is. Here is another piece of test equipment from my fathers antique radio collection. it is a Lafayette Signal Generator& Tracer. It is very good condition. It has some wear and small chips on the cabinet. There is a fine crack on the clear plastic pointer. It powers up. The signal tracing side works I got white noise and the sound would change when I touched the Probe. The Probe is homemade and is marked R.F. and Audio with a switch. There has been some modifications made(not by me) to the unit- 2 jacks were added and wired in parallel with the existing Input and Output ports allowing test cables with either chassis or pin connector to be used. Also what looks to be another volume control was added and can be used with the existing gain control to obtain the volume you like. The power cord and plug have been replaced. Includes a COPY of the Instruction Manuals which contains a schematic and parts list and 1 RF cable with a chassis plug and 1 AF cable with pin connection. This is a Feiler TS-3A Signal Tracer. They labeled it an Electronic“Stethoscope” This signal tracer can be used for AF and RF signals. There is a tube detector built into the probe for RF signals. This signal tracer is very useful to trace signals in old radios. It came from a radio tv shop that was closing its doors for retirement. I would say it is a working unit. It powers up and makes the sound that signal tracers makes. No further testing was done. Due to the age of this unit. It is being sold as is. Unit weighs 12.90 lbs. Here's a very nice example of this Heathkit signal tracer. You rarely see one that looks this nice. no cracks or damage to the cabinet. You see a little brown spot on the lower front edge that is some sort of paint drop near as I can tell. But I didn't want to try to get it off for fear of damaging the plastic. Very nice lot of vintage electronic test equipment! We did some simple testing with these and the results are given by each item and we guarantee nothing except that the tests we did got the results stated below. The pieces in this lot are; 1.HEATHKIT Signal Tracer. Model IT-12. We plugged this in and the volume on the speaker went up and down as the knob was turned and the light came on, so this appears to be in working condition, don't know for sure. 2. Fluke bench-top multimeter. Model 8012A. There is no power cord so we couldn't test this. There is a large sticker on the bottom with instructions for use. 3. TRIPLETT Transistor Tester. The gauge says model 690A(don't know if that is just the gauge or the model number of the whole assembly) The batteries are dead in this so couldn't turn it on. The batteries are odd shaped ... moreand would be hard to replace with the same style, but probably could make newer style batteries work. 4. MICRONTA Adjustable Dual-Tracking DC Power Supply. Model 22-121. With instruction manual. We plugged this in, the power switch light came on and the voltage level gauge moved from 0 to 15 as the knob was turned. Appears to be in working condition, no guarantee. A couple things in the instructions ae"Using the power supply to power one device or two with different voltage requirements" and"Connecting the A and B outputs in series for up to 30 volts" Several more uses for this very versatile piece of equipment. 5. GB digital multimeter. Model GDT-160. Very small for getting in to those tight places. The batteries are dead so we couldn't test this. 6. AWS clamp on voltmeter/ammeter. Model DSA-7610. DESCRIPTION Here is a very nice EICO 147 A Signal Tracer. It comes with the audio probe. But I don't have the RF probe for it. Also included is a copy of the manual. Switches, knobs and speaker are all very good. Output transformer works fine and can be used to test a tube amp's output stage. Wattmeter works and is moderately accurate above 40W. This is a fine example of vintage test equipment that you can use in your shop. This signal tracer uses the following vacuum tubes: 6X4. 12AX7& 6AQ5. All of the tubes test very strong with no shorts. I measured the B+ supply at 330V and everything looks like it's working.The eye tube doesn't have the greatest contrast, but is readily readable. This 147 A is in overall good to very good condition- see pictures. There is one tiny chip on the red AF probe jack. Vintage Signal Tracer, model CA 10 with unusual wooden probe
Here is an odd sort of signal tracer of unknown age and manufacture. Showing only as model CA 10. It features a wooden probe, intended, I assume, to reduce shock potential and minimize spurious noise from the user's hand, as well as headphone and neon bulb monitoring of the signal. It's housed in a fine box with a good cover, solid hinges, and a working front latch. The tracer measures about 6.5" W x 4" H x 6" D and weighs about 2 lbs. unpacked. It will be safely packed and quickly sent by FedEx Ground. I charge only the expected shipping cost with insurance. Heathkit Model T-4 Signal Tracer very bright eye tube
This auction is for a very nice Heathkit Model T-4"visual and aural" RF and Audio signal tracer. The probe has a switch that connects a diode detector for checking RF. I can hear a number of broadcast stations when I touch my finger to the probe tip(you need a shunt RF choke or resistor like a 47K to block the AC hum for this test) This has a very high gain amplifier so that you trace a signal in a radio from the antenna all the way to the speaker. This is really useful for checking microphones even low-Z dynamics. This also has terminals for checking by substitution of the audio output transformer and speaker. A vintage Knight model KG-679 Combination Signal Injector Tracer! I really do not know much about these so I will do my best but I have no way to test other than power which it does power up. Nice and clean inside and out as you can see in the photos. It runs on one AA battery and one 9 volt battery so this item is very portable(batteries not included) Minimal signs of wear and I believe the probes are the originals as well. It has a switch on it for AF or RF. All knobs and switches appear to move as they should. No chips or cracks. Please see all photos and don't miss out on this great item!
