DB Products UHF Repeater Duplexer DB-4075 GE DB4075 Ham Radio GMRS
This is a DB products UHF Repeater Duplexer model# DB-4075. It was obtained as part of a GE MASTR II series Ham Radio UHF Repeater system that was recently decommissioned. It is not tested and is sold as-is. GE included these 3-cavity duplexers in many of their UHF Repeater stations. Including the 200-watt versions. There's room for one more cavity, which I've added to several of these DB-4075 duplexers to convert them into the 4-cavity model# DB-4076, but I didn't have any spare cavities to add to this one. This duplexer has the stock double-shielded interconnect cables with type"N" female connectors, and is mounted on a 19" wide rack panel. The DB-4075 and DB-4076 will normally tune to the 440-450 MHz Ham Radio band with no modifications required. You are bidding on a vintage Radion VHF UHF Field Strength Meter in good condition but will need some tlc to bring out it's best appearance. It has a tube chart and schematic as pictured. The scaleplate that rotates is unglued from the metal disk but is still inside and in good condition.It still has it's original leather handle in usable condition. Top is Red Glass(not plastic) used and overall good condition: The entire fixture is about 7 inches tall. This is a very modern style of light. It has a quick release top to access the light bulb. It has a threaded hole that you cant ake a 1 inch standard threaded pipe and screw into the light fixture. The light uses standard light bulb thread. You can put in a standard house light bulb including a short CFL bulb. The light is very easy to get electric power to. You take your power wires wrap around the 2 screws/ tighten and that will give power to the bulb. This would be great for towers or even a table lamp in your home: Condition notes: Overall light ... moreis used and good condition. There are 2 very small nick's or chips on the side of the globe- see picture with fingers pointing to the marks. These marks in glass are only on the surface- no major damage to the glass or cracks. The glass has multiple white dots or marks- appears to be paint overspray or something simular. Only the surface effected- again no major problem with glass globe. The rubber ring is in great condition, not cracked/not dry. Threads in the aluminum base are in perfect condition- not stripped. Slight redish tower paint overspray on the alum base. There is a small cord that attaches the top light to the base so when changing the bulb the top stays attached. Overall again light is in used but good condition- pics show these conditions very well. The light bulbs are in picture for example only- no lights. No electrical wiring& no 1 inch pipes included. I purchased this in July 1991 to use for some ham antenna tower work, used it once or twice after that, and last used it in July 2001 when I removed the antennas prior to my retirement move south. My climbing days are over, so it is for sale. The included instruction manual says it will adjust up to a 46" waist and the lanyard is listed as having a 9,800 lb test. Fortunately, I never tried to test that myself, but I can tell you that I did feel secure wearing it at the top of my tower. Nice Vintage Heathkit IT-12 Signal Tracer Radio Audio Ham w/Probe & Manual Works
SquareTrade © AP6.0 This is a very nice Heathkit Model IT-12 Visual-Aural Signal Tracer. The unit comes with a copy of the assembly and operation manual and schematic. Heathkit had permanently attach the probe to this model Signal Tracer.no hunting for probes! A slide switch on the probe switches from audio circuits to demodulating rf signals. The unit uses both the sound from the speaker and also a"magic eye" tube for visual indication. The eye tube is strong and works properly. See photo#8. All the electrolytics were replaced with new caps and any resistors out of tolerance were also changed. Both tubes test"good" You'll notice when turning the unit"on" some low level hum. This is due to the high sensitivity of the tester and the fact that the input grid is at the probe tip and it'll pick up spurious ... moreac fields. You can move the probe around and hear a change in the hum and touching the tip end causes a louder hum. Once you start exploring a circuit and place the probe on a audio or rf point the hum disappears. This unit works fine and is an great aid in troubleshooting problems in vintage radios. Amplifiers and TVs. It's a must on the service bench. The concept and practice of signal tracing is simple and explained in a few pages in the manual. All the knobs are original and all function properly. The Model IT-12 is the successor of Heathkit's Model T-4. The only difference is that the IT-12 has fancier knobs. Circuit is exactly the same but this kit came out about 4 years after the very successful T-4. If you repair vintage equipment of collect vintage test equipment you should consider this Signal Tracer. You won't find one as clean and as nice as this one. Also. Disconnecting the probe line and adding a phono jack w/ matching impedance resistor will turn this into a great little amplifier for the guitar enthusiasts. This was a HB project that appears to have been some sort of audio bass/treble control center with equalizer. It is built in a re-purposed RCA case(originally a model WV-65A) That measures approximately 9-3/8” W x 5” H x 6 inches deep. It includes a 12AT7& 12AU7 tube. A small power transformer, two ¼” phone jacks, 2 Amphenol two-pin connectors, resistors, caps, 100K& 500K pots, turret type 9 pin sockets, a 5 position rotary switch, etc. I did not plug in this unit. Since I am selling it only for parts. I did. However, test both tubes. They did not show any shorts or leakage on my EICO 667 tube tester. And the conductance read mid-way in the green good scale.
