Well-Working HP Function Generator Model HP 3300A with Sweep/Offset Plug-In 3304 from the estate of an elderly engineer described by his friends as a"tinkerer" who had a remarkable amount of test equipment in his workshop. The Sweep/Offset Plug-In output looks very good on my Tek o'scope. Important: with this line of HP equipment. Inserting a Plug-In disables the mainframe 3300A functions, replacing them with the Plug-In's functions. To use the 3300A section rather than the plug-in, you'll need to acquire a 3301 Auxiliary Plug-In which was apparently discarded from the deceased's workspace- it looks to the untrained observer like a blank panel and apparently was tossed out. HP 3301 Auxiliary Plug-In panels appear inexpensively from time to time here on EBay. This unit is guaranteed to be working upon arrival.

Specs: 0.2Hz to 2MHz 20V p/p o/c 10V p/p 50 Ohm Features: Sine. Square, Triangle, Pulse, Ramp, Sweep, Burst, TTL, Outputs. VCG input. AM input. Duty(Invert) Offset, Variable Amplitude. In good used condition. With scuffs, scratches or marks. Tested to output all three waveforms, frequency and amplitude to vary and to sweep and attenuate according to the control settings. Global Specialties model 2120 20mhz sweep function generator in working condition. I checked as many functions as I could without the manual and everything appears to be working except the sweep function. Which runs for approx. 5 seconds, then stops and has to be re-started. Also the sweep upper frequency limit set does not give frequencies in even frequency settings, they are random numbers. Cosmetically this unit is pretty clean, with some scuffs and smudges here and there, mainly on the enclosure. This model is no longer made but sold for around $700 new. Sold as-is.
