The volume potentiometer is a bit loose but can be adjusted without hearing any scratches, pops, or other sudden loud noises, the tone control works flawlessly as well, and the rate and range knobs control works smoothly without any sudden unexpected changes in the functions that they control. There is a 1/4" jack on the back of the machine that is a mono output.
