The only thing we know for sure is that it says"Hewlett Packard HP" It looks like a vintage cover for a piece of test equipment(could be Signal Generator. Spectrum Analyzer, Oscilloscope, etc) Overall in good condition with a few scuffs and may need minor cleanup. Solid construction with no cracks and the side clips look to be in great shape. Up for auction is used HP 8660D Synthesized Signal Generator with 86631B& 86603A plug-in's installed. I have powered this up. I do not have the means to test it further. This has options 005. 009 and 100 installed. One of the digits has a burned out section. Please refer to picture two. There are some signs of wear such as surface scratches, sticker residue and ink marks on the top. This will need a standard power cord.
