With Option 004(low-noise enhancement) It can be used for out-of-channel receiver testing or as a clock source where having the lowest phase jitter is important. Radar testing can be done by adding Option 008(pulse modulation) Pulse width and delay can be internally adjusted between 50 ns and 999 ns, eliminating the need for an external pulse generator. Standard FM rates of up to 2 MHz and deviations to 20 MHz are suitable for many applications such as high-speed digital communications. The internal modulation source generates sine, square, triangle or sawtooth waveforms. For applications demanding the lowest RF leakage, Option 010 provides increased RF shielding. Up for Auction is a HP/Agilent 8648B Signal Generator. It generates frequencies from 9Khz to 2000 Mhz. As you can see in the photos it shows the signal being generated at 100mhz.500mhz and 1500Mhz. Its very accurate with the Freqs and attenuations. It also has the GPIB option if you need PC control for a tester. It does have handles on the back for easy transport. It does not come with the spectrum analyzer or an AC cord( it uses the standard PC type power cord available anywhere) The small ding in the plastic over the display came from My son who shot a BB gun in the house and the display took the ricochet. It works great but has not been formally calibrated. Great for 2 way radio, scanner trouble shooting. Buyer to pay actual shipping.
