Two Heathkit pieces of test equipment. They appear to work the RF Generator SG-8 puts out a noise that I could receive on a radio in the broadcast frequency. The digital frequency lights up but I don't know how to test it further. Both come with manuals. The power cords appear to be original in good condition. Hewlett-Packard 202A low frequency function generator, 1952 vintage
The HP-202A is a non linear sine wave vacuum tube low frequency function generator. It generates square. Sine, and triangle wave forms. The function generator does not works. I have taken the covers off to get a view of the inside and all vacuum tubes are in tact, not broken. The only part missing is an Allen wrench set screw on the knob for the fine frequency adjustment. It will not power up. It is antique. The vacuum tubes have an"HP" brand to them.

MEP 701A 016B Frequency Transducer. This unit is inside the control box and senses the frequency and sends the signal to the frequency gage mounted on the panel. If your frequency gage is not functioning and the gage is good then this is the item you need to replace. When the frequency gage does not read or does not read accurately. Or drifts as the unit warms up then this is the component to replace. This transducer takes 120 volt A/C from the convenience outlet circuit(T1-T3 generator coil) and outputs a 0- 200 micro Amps to the panel gage. 200 micro amps output at 65 Hz.
