Because we cannot get any output signal. The unit will also freeze randomly, and the display/buttons stop working. We do not have the equipment or expertise to test this unit further. There are some minor scratches and scuffs from previous use. And there is a small piece of plastic from the handle that is broken off and we can hear it rattling loosely inside the unit.
