Unit powers up, produces RF, and the internal leveling and attenuator works fine. the Uncal output is missing the center conductor of it's"N" connector, it is also missing the affixed cap. The three external modulation input BNC connectors are slightly bent. easy fix. There is also a pretty big ding in the right rear top corner(see picture) No feet or bale is included. Power cord is of the newer configuration and one will be included. All in all, this would be a great repair unit, or a great unit to use for parts. Normal scuffs and marks from use. A very dear friend of mine. With whom I shared Ham Radio, model engineering and astronomy hobbies, has been admitted to a care home due to ill health. His house is being sold and the family have asked me to deal with selling his hobby equipment to help towards the care home fees. Very sad, but over the coming weeks I will be listing a number of vintage and rare items. In this auction you are bidding for a Marconi TF995A/2 RF signal generator. It produces CW. AM and FM over the frequency range 1.5– 220MHz. In other words, ideal for the 160m to 2m Amateur Radio bands. Front panel looks perfect. The rest of the case is very good. It has its original mains lead and test lead that coil inside the side compartments. I have powered-up the signal generator– the mains light comes on and the meter registers.
