A pair of great mid century globe lights with gold drizzle accent paint. Each globe measures 25" around on center and are 9 1/2 inches in height. The openings measure 5' across. Both lamps have a three prong plug and a heavy duty cord in excellent condition. Both lamps show very little signs of wear and the insides of each are clean and retain the original manufacturers stickers. The last photo shows the lamps lit with a standard light bulb and there are areas where light is escaping around the center seam. I believe these lamps are supposed to use the larger spot light type bulbs that would be flush with the opening which would most likely eliminate this effect. No bulbs are included in the auction. Vintage 50's Adult Colored Comic Party Favors, a bit like Playboy
I can only guess that these nine little toy plastic telescopes were adult party favors back in the 50's. They all have a risque comic images with lines except for 1. Some are colored and I did try to capture some of the images but they did not come out very clear. Some of the images are a bit faded. Too. One of the dark colored ones does not have an image in it and the end does come off. I'm guessing one could put in an image but maybe it's just a faded blank. They measure about 1 1/4 inches closed and 2 inches opened and have a diameter of about 3/4 of an inch on the picture end. They weigh about 1 1/2 ounces.
