Gibson J50 J-50 Acoustic Guitar Early 1970s
This guitar is over 30 years old and so it is being sold“As Is” and returns are not accepted. Read the description below. View the pictures closely, ask as many questions and request as many additional pictures as necessary before you bid. This is a very early 1970’s Gibson J50. Serial no. 733214 and MADE IN U.S.A. are stamped on back of the headstock. Original Gibson Deluxe tuners. Nut, string pegs and strap button. Guitar is in good condition its age. However, there are cracks in the top around the sound hole(one is at the top of the neck) a small finish crack on the back(shown in pic#3. The crack is only in the finish, which is why it does not follow the wood grain) and the pickguard is lifting away from the top just below the strings. The sides are very clean but there are a few dents and scratches. The back of the neck is smooth with ... morea couple small indentations and a little thumb finish wear by above the second fret(see pic#19) The fret board shows wear on the lower frets. The bridge is in very nice condition, has attractive wood grain, and is tight to the top. The case is made of plywood and fits the guitar well but is not stamped Gibson so it may not be original. The handle and all brass latches are secure to the case and work properly. Two feet are missing from the back of the case(see pic#12) and there are several tears in the tolex. This is a group of 28 vintage birthday cards from the 1940's and 1950's. They are mostly for small children but not all. There are die cut cards and a motion card where you spin a wheel to make different birds appear in a bird cage. The coolest one in my opinion is a zoo card. It is for a 2 year old birthday and has zoo animal paper dolls inside that have never been used- the card was only signed on the back. A fun group. Vintage Universal G-50 Fountain Pen Description: Not much is known about the Universal Pen Company except that its offices were in the heart of New York City in the 1930's. Some speculate that this may have been an upstart company that was bought out by another bigger company or that it was another marketer of a larger brand. This is a nice pen with a green plastic body and chrome cap/end. The nib is gold colored but hasn't any markings. Age: 1930's Coloring: Green body. Vintage Pair cups & Saucers 1959 Roselyn Dogwood Marked Japan Roselyn 50% off
This is a set of two cups and saucers with the pattern of the Roselyn China of 1959. I have other pieces of this pattern that are listed. These came out of an estate auction. The cups are white with gold edging. And has one large grayish/white flower with leaves on it, as well as a pink bud on the inside. The center of the flowers are pink and yellow. I have found the pattern to be Dogwood. Beautiful. The saucers have a large flower and pink bulb and leaves. They have been used but no chips or cracks that I could find. The gold edging is worn but still shows up good. They are marked on the back as seen in picture. Bid now on the beautiful Roselyn Dogwood patterned cups and saucers. No reserve!
