VINTAGE BRASS DRAFTING INSTRUMENTS WOOD CASE WITH STORAGE COMPARTMENT Believe this brass set of instruments was made in Germany and could possibly be by TACRO. Not sure of the age of these instruments. They are not marked and the small metal plate on top has no name. It contains 11 tools. Not sure what the white handle of the pen is made of. The wood case is 8-1/4 inches x 5 inches x and approx. 1-7/8 inches high. Inside top of case is padded to protect the tools. They are all brass except where a harder metal is required. Beautiful desk covered with"old" appliques of fairies. Flowers, animals. et c. I believe this was more than likely a childrens desk because of it's size and of course a ll the whimsical appliques. I have been utilizing it as a Telephone Table as it is a perfect height. Not sure what kind of wood this is. But it is fairly heavy. Some of the flowers/appliques look to be hand painted and the whole desk is heav ily shellacked/sealed. Tall. But sturdy legs, the top has a back ledge and side ledges. One good sized drawer that slides relatively easily and a goodly amount of storage(phone books) on the open ledge beneath the drawer with a circular cut out. The desk is got a nice patina of muted honey color and dark wood and greens. The white knobs are probably not original to the desk. Vintage Seminole Indian Sweetgrass Lidded Basket We're selling this for a neighbor. Who received it from her sister as a gift years ago. It's a sweetgrass basket, and from my research, it's an old one, as the coils of sweetgrass are secured with pine needles rather than cotton thread and there's palmetto used in either the top or bottom. It's well-made and finely woven, reminding me more of Gullah than modern Seminole weaving. It's also an unusual form. With a domed lid. Size: 12.5" in diameter. 6.5" tall. Condition: there seems to be a little fading to the wrapped decorations on the sides; they seem like they should be more red than they are. Otherwise fine. No wear or damage. Beautiful. Unique collectible box, possibly for sewing, vanity items, trinkets, etc. This early molded plastic(1930s) Victorian Lady is two-piece and was purchased with other vintage sewing supplies. I have one more similar piece in another auction- please check it out. There is a pearlescent sheen to the plastic. I'm not familiar with early plastics. So I'm not certain if it's Bakelite. Top half lifts off to reveal storage in the hoop skirt portion. I'm not sure of the function. Other than storage. She looks like she might possibly be a Bride. Great detailing- she wears a victorian style dress and holds a bouquet of flowers. She has upswept hair and painted facial details. EXCELLENT condition with no cracks and a few very minor surface scuffs. And one rough spot that feels like light glue residue. Stands just over 6" ... moretall in total height. I am putting up for sale this antique wooden box/ crate that has 2 metal straps wrapped around each end of the box making it more stable. These types of boxes were used as storage containers for items in an old warehouse here in Massachusetts. They were made in the 1950s and were always kept indoors and that is why the wood looks fresh and not weathered. It measures about 23" long x 18" wide x 12 1/4" tall and weighs 11 pounds& 12 ounces. This box is in good& solid condition except it has some nicks. Chips& scrapes as can be seen in the pictures. This box has many creative and decorative uses including shelving. It is made of wood and has orange felt pieces on the bottom and the inside of the storage area and the lid. The box has two strings wrapped around the lid and the middle of the bottom part. It has also been decorated with orange round. Flower-like plastic thumbtacks at the corners over the strings. The lid has two brass tone hinges and a chain on the inside connected to the storage area so it keeps it stay open when lifted. The top of the lid has ... morea cotton or wool multicolored needlepoint pattern that most likely is stuffed on the inside. The middle of the front part of the lid has applied round brass filigree style decoration. The item comes in well-preserved condition for its age with no broken parts. Cracks or repairs. A gorgeous mid-century Birds Eye Maple Wardrobe with Mahogany on the inside. We are pleased to present this beautiful Wardrobe for your consideration. The exterior is primarily Birds Eye Maple with areas of decorative veneer. Plus there is a narrow mirror running down much of the center. The interior is lined with Mahogany, and features two areas of different heights for hanging garments, plus one upper shelf for accessories. The piece has some Art Deco features, but dates to the 1940's or 1950's. The Wardrobe measures 74 inches high. 48-1/2 inches wide, and 22 inches deep(which includes the curved surface on the front doors) The piece is in fine shape and ready to be used. There are occasional signs of wear as would be expected on a used piece of furniture. But nothing major. There are some small nail holes near the handles on the ... morefront, but they have been filled in with wood filler and are not very noticeable. The interior shelf has contact paper on it which we have left in place. The interior is clean and odor free. Vintage handmade truck toy storage tunk chest box
Here we have today is something really unique. A great estate find. Here we have a handmade toy storage piece in the shape of an old truck from the 1950's-1960's. This great piece is very special, it is one piece, it is 52 1/2" long, the cab is 16" long, it is 28" tall and 17" wide. Truck has wheels on the bottom for easy moving, and as you will see from the photo, they are old. Everything is nice and tight, piece shows average wear, tear, bumps and scrapes for it's age. This would make a great gift for that special someone for the holidays! I could not find and makers marks so I do not know who made this wonderful item. Vintage Locking Safe Drawer Strong Box Key Document Storage Valuables Old
Locking metal drawer or safe insert with key. No serious rust. Minor bumps in the door near the key consisting of about 4 small punch marks and some missing paint. Hinges, and lock in good condition except there is no tension on the lock so I assume the spring is broken or out of place. The body measures 4.5 inches wide and just under 5 inches high. The whole thing is 12 inches front to back. The frame around the door is 5.25 wide and 5.75 inches tall. Please ask any questions you might have about this item.

Could make your own if you want out of cardboard. Box is about 7&1/4" tall, 8&1/2" across, and 12" long. Please make sure you latch it before picking it up by handle, as I sold a large sewing box last year and buyer filled the bottom with sewing machine parts, too heavy, and broke the latch and the hinges, then blamed me for it with negative feedback.
