FANTASTIC 35 DRAWER VINTAGE METAL FILE CABINET WITH BRASS PULLS GREAT CONDITION
This is about as cool as a vintage file cabinet comes. The pictures don't really do it justice. It has 35 drawers all with brass pulls( some are painted over) and the drawer is pat. for what seems to be 1918 but it is most likely a bit later. The weight and construction of this piece is about as good as it gets even with the drawers all out it must weigh a few hundred pounds. Each drawer works and slides fine. There is a tag on the top of the maker which says Metwood Wood Office Equipment New York. The size overall is 55" tall by 25" wide and 25" deep. This could be stripped as there are no rust problems or left in the industry green. I think this cabinety is about as good as they get for that period both quality construction and overall look. 1930's Gas Station Advertising Store Display Metal Cabinet Sign Industrial Look
This is a great gas station or auto parts store cabinet from the 1930's. It measures 10"x11"x 21" and is made from heavy steel. It has great graphics on 3 sides. The side panels feature images of a model A ford type car inside a bulb. It's rear side has 8 drawers with small hole in each for storage of Mazda automotive light bulbs. Three of the drawers even have there original celluloid inserts. This store display is not mint but does have a great garage patina. The cabinet is not rusted but rather just some surface scratches and minor soiling. It's really got a great industrial look. The handle looks to be like a key of sorts, that does not remove- works great. Inside are 2 shelves that are removable- but not adjustable. This measures 20" high, by 13" across by 11" deep. Here's a vintage Industrial piece that would look great in your home or office. It's a 4 unit metal storage locker removed from AVENAL STATE PRISON IN CALIFORNIA. THESE LOCKERS WERE USED BY THE PRISONERS AND IS EVIDENT THROUGH THE GANG AFFILIATED GRAFFITI FOUND INSIDE THE LOCKERS. Straight out of an estate- heavy duty steel cabinet with solid brass handles. I pressure washed it with plain water to get the bulk of the crud off. It still has some oil residue and rust- the top is very rusty and pitted. Heavy gauge steel- the doors are reinforced with 1/4 plate around the edges. Shelves appear to be adjustable. Doors operate and latch properly- no key for lock. 42" tall x 30 3/4" wide x 28 1/2" front to back overall dimensions. Vintage Card Catalog / Index Card 6 Drawer Metal Industrial Cabinet Brass Pulls
This is an old metal card catalog for 6"X4" cards. The cabinet a slightly rusty industrial gray with a military green under the gray. And it measures 20" tall X 14& 3/4" wide x 16" deep. The pulls are all brass. And in sliding inserts are all there, you can remove them or slide them all the way back to use this piece for storage. The outer shell looks like it is 3 separate units stacked on top of each other. But this is 1 single unit, you may be able to separate them, I don't know. All drawers slide out fine. And there is minimal rust. I would date this to around the 1950s. It came out of a dentist office, and it held patient insurance information.
