I custom ordered the cabinet with upgraded speakers- not the usual stock Black Shadow speakers- through a local music store back in 1995. It's loaded with Celestion Vintage 30's on top and OEM EV's on the bottom. The cabinet is not in mint condition cosmetically. But it is in perfect working order. Everything is how I ordered it from the Mesa Boogie factory. Nothing has been modified or customized. This cabinet excels at tones from blues to 70's rock to 80's metal. The included Mesa Boogie casters really come in handy on this guy- it's one heavy monster. Mid Century Metal Pelton & Crane Dental Cabinet Stand Glass Door Medical Yellow
Mid century dental cabinet made by Pelton& Crane of Detroit. MI. Pelton& Crane was founded in 1900 by a dentist and an electrical engineer and is still in business making appliances, furniture and accessories for use in dental offices. This cabinet most likely dates from the early to mid 1900's and is mostly made of metal painted a soft yellow color. It has a two tiered top surface, probably with the extra black shelf for use holding instruments or tools. The top drawer contains a white enamel dish and has a glass or crystal knob. The lower cabinet has ridges in the side for shelves and sits behind a bevelled glass door. Arched feet and an overhanging top. There is a metal company tag inside the top drawer, as you can see from the pictures. Overall. This piece is in fair to good condition, but does have some wear consistent with ... moreage and use. There are chips to the paint in several places, most notably at corners and edges and across the top of the black tray. Some of the exposed metal has minor rusting. Also the knob for the lower cabinet is missing and we do not have shelves for the interior. Otherwise, there are no breaks or visible repairs. The cabinet stands 34 1/2" tall and measures 23 1/2" wide and 13 1/4" deep. Listing tonight is a nice mid century metal cabinet for the kitchen. It is a nice vintage piece of history that would make a great period island base or condo/ loft storage cabinet. You could mount some casters on the bottom to make it mobile. It has a long ago paint job in a nice retro olive green. The top is formica with a chrome band around the top. The formica has some marks and wear but still very presentable and is about 60 years old. It measures 18 x 28 inches wide. The top is 20 x 30. It features a lower storage compartment that has 2 nice doors and a shelf. Very large at 25 x 24. There is also 3 drawer. 1 larger and 2 smaller on top of each other.
