The piece was cut into sections and this is one of them. The section measures 105" wide 37" tall and 14.5" deep. You can see some of the labels still on the piece. You can see 3 of the doors have part of a label still on them. We left this on there to keep it as original as possible. The top of the piece is the way we got it but looks like the boards have been replaced. All the doors close smoothly. Would definitely be a great statement piece hanging on a wall. Beveled glass mirror, book matched veneer on doors. All hinges and knobs appear to be original, one knob needs to be re-attached, one keyhole brass rim is missing. No key for the drawers. This beautifully carved oak wall cabinet was discovered during a property refurbishment. Still being in daily use despite being well over 100 years old and certainly built to last. Clearly cherished by it's former owner and having achieved a warm patination through the use of beeswax polish over a number of years. The solid english oak cabinet measures 27"x 21"x 8" Has an interior shelf and working lock and key. Each side panel and front is carved with acorns and oak leaves and the entwining oak branches to the front, form an Art Nouveau influenced heart design. Very charming and particularly well executed. Despite the cabinet's size and considerable weight. It can be safely delivered by courier at cost. I very much doubt you will ever find a similar cabinet and certainly not for less than £100!

VICTORIAN BENT OAK CURVED GLASS WALL CURIO CABINET. With stick and ball openwork. There are double doors with brass catches for each door, and curved glass side panels. One curved-glass panel has been replaced by a strong curved Plexiglass panel, probably when the cabinet was repaired some time ago, but it blends in perfectly. There are 3 levels upon which one may display curios or dishes: 2 inside the cabinet, and one on the top. Convenient dish-display grooves are made on all three display surfaces. The back of the cabinet inside is very neatly covered with a thin green fabric, which will beautifully and cleanly highlight your treasures without distracting from them. This curio/dish cabinet is surprisingly relatively stable as a free-standing piece, and may be a perfect compliment to the top of a buffet, but should be stabilized if not ... morewall-mounted. Last Time! Antique Globe Wernicke Oak Map Blueprint Cabinet 5 Sections - Rare!
This is a RARE find. I am simply not going to get to all the"projects" I have acquired and this deserves to be cherished and used! This is a set of 5 Globe Wernicke Map- Blueprint Oak Cabinets each with 5 drawers. Will NOT sell individually. These were acquired from a university and clearly were used in a Department of Agriculture(they have the USDA inventory stickers still attached)office prior to be used in the university setting. I date their age to be 1920s or perhaps the mid 30's. These were clearly utility pieces. I recovered paperwork from the USDA from 1930 thru the 1950's. These were made when furniture was meant to be used for many. Many years and was not meant to be a disposable item. They are solid wood with dovetailed joints. While they are structurally very sound and solid(one drawer front was broken& glue ... morerepaired) they need some serious TLC and updating of handles- I will leave that to the new owner. I was planning to more thoroughly clean, sand, stain in a darker tone for consistency& replace handles with vintage bin pulls: of course, the new owner may decide to do more or less depending on preference. They could be painted( or even used almost as is. Overall dimensions each cabinet 33" wide x 13 1/4" high x 25" deep. All 5 units are approximately 66" high. Vintage English style Tambour Door Roll Front Wood Drawer Cabinet. Needs Repair
Local pickup only. Payment in cash only. Or by PayPal before pickup. Vintage antique English style Tambour Roll Front Wood Drawer Cabinet. It was purchased in Argentina in the 70s. A metal label in one drawer indicates"Introductores y Fabricantes. Thompson Muelleg Ltd. Buenos Aires" It needs repair: The bottom front wood bar(where the lock is) detached from the remaining roll front and needs to be re-attached. II believe i may be necessary to add one more bar at the other end which is inside the cabinet. So that when the roll front is open, its weight is resting on the back(in cabinet bar and not pulling apart the bottom front bar. That inside bar is never seen so it doesn't have to match exactly visually. The roll front is serviced by removing nails that keep the cover in place at the very top of the cabinet. And then pulling ... moreout the roll front. The roll-front rolls down from the top to close at the bottom and covers the entire front of the cabinet. It has two handles and a working lock with a key. The top section has ten drawers arranged as two columns and five rows. The bottom section is cabinet with two doors designed to look like more drawers. The lock mechanism and key for the doors are gone. The original handles of the drawers and the top handle of each door have been replaced with pivoting brass handles that were easier to operate. I have t he 11 of the 12 original Brass Library Drawer Pull tab Handles& Label Card Holders Pull tab handles. I need to look for the last one. I don't know if it's possible to reinstall them if so desired. From a non-smoking home. Measurements: Width: 28.5' at top and bottom crowns. Width: 26 3/4' at most of the cabinet. Antique Buffet cabinet think Cherry wood with pull out liquor shelf good shape
I don't know much about this piece it measures 6 foot x 37 inches x 18 inches at widest edge. I've owned this cabinet for 20 years and only need to sell because I'm down sizing and this cabinet is to large for my next house. I believe the wood is cherry. The cabinet has four doors on the front. Two of the door have a wire see through front and the inside back wall is mirrors. These doors need a little repair but nothing is missing. The outside of the cabinet has some scratches and the top need to be refinished. In the inside is three removable shelves the top shelf pulls out and has holds to hold glasses and the center is a glass mirror and the back section that pulls out is mirrored. this would make a really cute recipe box holder in the kitchen. Store items on the top of the cabinet also. it is a vintage old library index card cabinet, it is 5 1/2 inches tall, 14 inches wide, and 15 1/2 inches front to back. the wood is oak, but have not found any makers mark on it. this does have some stains on the top,please look at all the pictures, as I have shown the good, the bad, and the ugly. the bottom is covered in a felt like material. the box is old and the stain has"crackled" with age! all in all I think a great old cabinet. comes from a smoke free home, ships in the u.s.a and will be $33.00 pay pal payment needs to be made by the end of 3 days of this auction, thanks for looking!
