I have for sale a rare. Primitive/ antique Farmhouse kitchen table for sale it is I believe it to be very late 18th century to early 19th. Century. I believe the wood may be oak, it measures 47" L. X 26" W. and it is 29" tall. We purchased it from an Antique dealer over 12 years ago and has served us well. It has 2 flour bins, for sugar& flour, 2 cutting boards and 2 utility drawers. Condition. Table top is worn from decades of use, cracks, chips around the edges, varnish worn off. As seen in the photos the front left one of the flour/sugar bin drawer was not pieced together not so well by previous owner, it can be restored. has expected ware all the way around. The table is sturdy and not wobbly. 19th Century Tea Caddy Casket with 2 Zinc Lined Removable Bins Ebony Inlay
For your consideration we offer this fine example of a 19th century(Regency or George III) wooden casket-type tea caddy. The beautiful(rosewood? mahogany) case has a nice ebony inlaid design. And a diamond-shaped bone escutcheon surrounding the keyhole. No key. Original finish- only thing we have done is give it a good polishing with pure beeswax. There are some small pieces of veneer missing at the corners as shown and several places where the ebony inlay is missing. View photos for accurate depiction of case condition. Inside. The lid is lined in a bright red leather. Two hinged tea boxes fit perfectly into compartments to the left and right. These slide smoothly in and out and fit like a gloves. They retain their original zinc linings which are rough as shown in the photos. The aroma of tea is quite heady! The center circular compartment ... morewas meant for a cut crystal sugar container which is missing. On either side of the case are small brass oval handles with brass escutcheons. It is 10-1/2" long, 5-7/8" tall, and 4-5/8" front to back. The wood lids are 1-5/8" from top of knob to bottom of the flat part. It's very thick glass.
