Antique Circa 1920-1930's Baker’s Table With Flour Bins ~ in Great Shape!
Antique 1920-1930's Baker's Table in great shape! I bought this table in September 2002 from an Antique shop in Glen Ellyn. Illinois.I still have the receipt and I paid $368.00 for this piece. I have used it as a microwave table. It has a pull out cutting board right under the top of the table that measures 18 1/2" wide. The top of the table and the four drawers are the natural wood, along with the cutting board. The top measures 40" x 23 1/2" The Baker's Table measures 30 5/8" tall. The bottom two drawers are flour bins The bottom two pull handles are a cup type handle and are black in color. The top two handle knobs are part wood that matches the wood top and natural wood front of the drawers. When I bought this Bakers Table, it was painted in an old 50's style mint green. I painted it right away and ... moremade it a dark red color. This Bakers Table is in terrific shape! The last picture shows there is one back roller missing that was missing when I purchased it. The casing around where the roller should be, is in tact. The third to the last picture shows some indentation on the inside sides of the top two drawers when pulled open, but I purchased it like this and it is painted over. Two great vintage industrial salvage stack storage bins. These are called Stack Bins made in Pawtucket. RI since 1931, these industrial, stackable bins were said to increase productivity and efficiency. Today, they are great little organizational tools. Use them to categorize your sugars, arrange them on your desk to hold paper clips or pencil sharpeners. Would make a excellent accent piece for your industrial style decor! Great, rusted condition.
