Vintage Mid Century Enamel Flower Power Metal Tin Carrying Case Record File Storage Box Vintage. Retro, Mid-Century 1960s- Vintage 1960s mid century flower power file box. Some very minor scatches on the back side, but still in great condition without any rust! It has an enamel finish with large, brilliantly colored flower graphics on all sides that are bright shades of orange, yellow, blue and green with a background olive green color. The inside of case is colored in orange. Has a gold colored metal handle and latch. The latch is in good working condition- opens and closes just fine, but doesn't have the key so it can't be locked. Up for auction is an antique Bausch& Lomb Brass Microscope with wood storage box. The microscope has"Bausch& Lomb Optical Co. Rochester. NY USA" stamped on the brass body tube. The revolving nose piece has 4mm and 16 mm on the outside of it. The top of the nose piece has"B& L.O. Co. Pat. Dec. 1. 08. stamped on it. The eyepiece can be extended and has"117948" on it while the lens has"10x" stamped on the top of it. The objectives also have the Bausch& Lomb Optical Co. mark as well as"16mm 0.25 N.A. on one and"Oil 1 mm 1/12 1.32 N.A. Tube length 160 OMM" on the other. The stage and specimen holders are both in good condition considering the age. With the holders still giving good resistance to hold slides securely. The light source mirror is also in good condition and still can ... moreswing side to side and hold where it is placed. The course focus knob is a little loose and tends to start slowly lowering the body tube by itself. This does not always occur. But it has happened a few times. The stage and base of the microscope is a painted black metal; the base does show some signs of wear. Overall length of microscope: 6-1/2" Width of microscope: 1-1/16" at its widest point Height of microscope: Appx. 12" The microscope weighs 8.15lbs by itself; the total weigh including the storage box is 13.6lbs. Two holders in the wood case slide out to show additional lens holding slots. There is an additional 10x lens and 8x lens. There is a crack in the back of the case. But as of now it does not effect the structural integrity of the box. The box also comes with a key, so the case can be locked and unlocked as needed. Then it was sunny, and then it was raining again. I was visiting family for the weekend and it was time to get in the car for the 4 hour trip back home… Before leaving. I previously made arrangements the day before with a gentleman who told me he just purchased a very small commercial building in a town to which one of the former tenants owned a camera and photo store for 50 years. Supposedly, the camera store proprietor suddenly just decided to go out of business and he left his entire inventory in the store. It appeared he didn't take it with him thus the new owner inheriting all of his stock. So I got in the car and made the diversion. As I entered ... morethe village. I noticed it was tired, old but quaint. What seemed at one time was a vibrant small business area ended up being slowly deteriorated by a lot of vacant store fronts. I finally pulled up to the location and was greeted by a friendly gentleman who I spoke to on the phone. He unlocked the door and I was totally amazed as to what was left behind. From the very first few moments when I stepped inside. I could definitely tell that the original owner spent his entire lifetime dedicated to that store. He specialized in 1 hour photo, cameras, framing, and enlargements. It was kind of unfortunate to see a person's lifelong work just left behind. The place had several rooms. A dark room, a framing room, the office and the sales floor. Everything was scattered from others coming in and searching the place. Well. I didn't find the treasured Leica but what I did take back with me was a lot of great vintage accessories, filters, cameras, advertising, and some other great items. A lot of the items was"new old stock" that I was able to acquire. After spending two hours weaving in and out of rooms. Searching through drawers and shelves, I finally loaded up the

Up for auction today is one of my favorite Sanrio pieces from my collection. It's an oversized metal lunchbox featuring Hello Kitty's pal. Pochacco the puppy dog. It is listed as used because it has never been used, but has been on display on my shelf for many years. The condition is very good- no dings or dents, only some surface scratches which were present when I bought this from Sanrio store. There is one long scratch on one side which is the most obvious. I love this piece. It looks to be an old drawer or insert tray from a Metal filing cabinet. It is Gun Metal Grey. Metal, and Awesomely Grunky! This old tote, carrier, tray, insert is great for Organization, Gardening, Decorating, Crafting supplies, and of course Storage. Measures 17 1/2" wide, 2 1/2" tall, and 6" deep.
