These Lithographs were produced by Bull Durham Co. in the late 60's early 70's as a remake of their turn of the century posters. This poster is 18 X 26 Inches. There is a slight curve to poster. Straightens out with framing or hanging. Please Note: Black Americana consistently falls into one of these difficult to grasp categories. Especially when dealing with items produced from the'20s through the'50s which insensitively stereotyped African-Americans with consistency. The derogatory ... morenature of these items reflects a different time in American history when it was acceptable to have black stereotypes not only in the home, but everywhere. People bought Gold Dust Twins laundry powder in at the local market. And outfitted their kitchens with Aunt Jemima, Uncle Moses and other caricatures. The firm was originally known as Durham Razor Company. About 1925, they purchased the Alfred Williams company. The name was later changed to the Durham-Enders Razor Corporation. In Mystic, Connecticut. This was prior to 1942. Under that name, the company gained control of the W&S Butcher Company of Sheffield. England. By 1970 they were the Durham-Duplex Razor Company Ltd of Sheffield. The logo on the listed razor looks similar to a copyrighted logo from 1908. It will have some user wear. To be sure. This razor is in extremely nice condition. If it was used, it wasn't much. It still retains its original shiny factory luster! The razor looks nearly flawless to me. I could not see any major cosmetic flaws or user wear to speak of on this razor other than possibly aging and handling. This razor set will show splendidly in your collection. Please look at all of the photos and make your own call. GENERAL CASE CONDITION: Also. Included with the razor is its case of purchase. For its age this case has done very well. The case looks like it is a bluish colored. Textured Texol- covered metal case to me, but I am guessing. It has some minor cosmetic scratches and scuffs. Rare ERN Ator Reg D Straight Razor & Durham Duplex with Extra Blades
Here we have a super rare ERN Ator Reg D Straight Razor with the original box and a Durham Duplex straight razor with plastic box and extra blades. Both of these razors are in good condition. They do show minor signs of wear(please see photos) but that is to be expected with vintage items. The ERN razor extends to 9 3/4" long when open and is 5 13/16" long when closed, the blade itself measures 6" long. It comes in a vintage box that reads"Lincoln, D.H. Lory N.Y. Solingen. The Durham Duplex is in excellent condition, it comes in a small plastic case with extra blades, it measures approximately 8.5" long when extended.

Rocque is now mainly remembered for his map of London. He began work on this in 1737 and it was published in 24 printed sheets in 1747. It was by far the most detailed map of London published up to that time, and remains an important historical resource. The map of London and his other maps brought him an appointment as cartographer to the Prince of Wales in 1751. A fire in 1750 destroyed his premises and stock. This item up for bids is a pair of Lynchburg and Durham Railroad Company bond notes from 1893. These notes are consecutive numbers and are in fantastic condition for items 120 years old. These notes were originally good for $25 but the owner agreed to accept $10 for them. Originally issued by American Bank Note Co. of Philadelpia. Notes are#1463 and#1464 printed in July 1893. As you can see from the pictures. These are in circulated condition and looks to have been torn off a little closer to the edge than the other. Both also appear to have a mild crease on the right side. See the pictures for the best idea of the condition of these small notes. This would be great for any collector of railroad memorabilia.
