We are offering a set of brass Art Deco matching drawer pulls. This set consists of two pairs of pulls: one larger and one smaller. The larger plates are 2 13/16" wide by 2 1/32" tall; the smaller plates are 25/32" wide by 2 47/64" tall(measurements taken assuming the little nail? hole in each is the bottom) The longer handles are 2 1/4" long by 29/32" wide at widest and the shorter ones are 2" by 27/32" wide. There's a metal tag inside with a serial number and"USPO Dept" affixed to the interior of the cabinet. The body of the cabinet has some insect damage on the underside- floor is thin and has some holes in the corner as pictured. But it doesn't affect function. Unique IMARI Japan Japanese Cabinet Pulls Hardware 20 AVAILABLE Drawer Pulls These porcelain knobs and a listing for just the pulls were purchased in the 1980s and were all made in Japan. They are traditional Imari styling of nature and pagoda and are in rich blues. Golds and rust red on a white gloss background. Each one is 2 parts- the pull and the cabinet screw. porcelain piece is marked JAPAN. These look like new as they were more decorative than actually used. But. They are used and in EUC with no chips or cracks; possibly only a bit of paint residue on the back from the cupboard they were on. Each one measures 7/8" out from the cabinet(deep or long) and 1 1/2" wide. They are wonderful. I have a total of 20- all matching. This is for all knobs including mounting screw hardware.

The top of cabinet has a remnant of an old stain(see photo) There is a very slight sep aration on right side where the side meets the top. Nothing major, shown in photo. Mid Century 60 drawer Library Card Catalog cabinet
Available is one 60 drawer library Card Catalog. The cabinet is a combination of solid maple(drawers and several other parts) and high quality plywood. Dovetail construction for the drawers, and finished off in a light blonde of medium opaqueness. I would say that the color is close to that nice light blonde found on many old Telecaster guitars. The pictures don't do this thing justice mainly because I was using a really crappy little camera. The stainless steel(i think) hardware is in excellent shape and really does look swell. Dimensions: Depth: ~17.25" Width: ~40.25" Height: ~59" Weight: I bet this cabinet is 250 pounds. Condition This cabinet is in better condition than many of these that I've seen. That said. Expect a good looking 40-50 year old piece of furniture. It has the usual nicks from being used in a large ... moreinstitution and occasionally moved. The drawers are all square, slide smoothly, and are generally in excellent shape. Possibly the most obvious athesetheic detraction is at the base where there is black glue/caulk that once attached a strip of that rubber wallboard material. I suspect that this could be removed with not to much effort or a better idea might be to recover with some really colorful rubber baseboard or faux fur or carbon fiber or something. Other Minor Issues One drawer is missing a piece of wood that was screwed to the inside if the front panel. This is not visible when the drawer is closed and does not affect the drawers integrity. A replacement panel could be cut pretty easily. You can see what I'm talking about in one of the pictures. Each side has four ~1/2" holes drilled. This was allow multiple cabinets to be tied together with bolts. One side has a piece of metal drilled to it. I have no idea what this is about. The new owner can deal with it. If you're realistic and not looking for a museum piece. You will easily find it in your heart to love this behemoth. What the heck would you even use this for? You can see the dark squiggles on top and elsewhere that are the scratches and scrapes that have darkened with the polishing. There are some white streaks on the top front edge. This is a really nice filing cabinet( c. Early 1900's) that is both practical and functional and can be used in various areas of a home, office, etc. The panaled cabinet is in great original found condition. The finish appears to be original with a patina that only time can produce. The condition. Is consistent and appropiate with the age and use. There is an old small chip on the bttom right and left hand corner(see zoomed in picture 1) There are thirty(30) slat drawers and two larger bottom drawers. Each of the thirty(30) slat drawers have the original(ID,label) brass pulls on them. There are two original holes in the drawer bottom that allows the paper, etc. to be"pushed up" to be able to grasp to it(please see picture threee(3) A removable divider halfs the drawer. Vtg Antique 1908 Yawman & Earb Metal Card Cabinet File Drawer Brass Handles
Description All metal with faux wood-grain paint and brass handle. Painted label on the front. Very heavy and well constructed. Good condition with age appropriate wear. It has some paint loss. A few scratches, and some surface rust on the back end. The label is mostly intact. The brass has the appropriate patina you'd expect on a piece this old. One of the rods has two patent dates on it. The latest being 1908. It has one card clip. But may be missing another. The knob on the bottom spins one of the rods, and appears to do nothing at all except spin. I think that another card clip might have attached to it and was moved or locked by the knob on the bottom. The switch on the top holds the drawer in place and works great. All metal with olive paint and brass handle. Painted label on the front. Very good condition with light wear. It has a little paint loss. A few scratches, and one small spot of rust on the back end. Two of the rubber feet are missing from the bottom. The label is mostly intact. The brass has some light patina. The card clip is there and working fine. What's really interesting is the label on the front and the cards that we found in it. The label is from the Check Furniture Co. of Monessen. PA and is marked Prospect File.
