The wires were typically 1 mil thick gold or aluminum. This is an early version machine. There are at least 4 generations of newer machines. The latest being microprocessor controlled. This machine merely moves right or left slowly. There is an anvil or what ever you want to call it that can be adjusted horizontally or vertically as well as in 2 axis of rotation. The circuit chip(and holder) would be mounted to the moving stage with the desired orientation. A tiny scale would be attached to the part on the left and the other end of the scale would attach to the tiny wire. The motorized base would ... morebe powered away until the wire broke or it pulled loose from the chip. The highest reading of the scale would be the pull or bonding strength. Note, we don't have the scale or mounting for it or the clamp for the tiny wire. The backside edge of the stage rotation plate took a beating some place along the line but it still seems functional. Additional similar items maybe listed separately or available on request. Might be just what you need for your micro miniature pull strength testing application. If you want what you see.
