This is a NEW in Box Hurst Geared electric induction motor. It is a KN type(normal slip) and the part number is 2482-611. These can be used for many things but this particular setup was used to control the shutter operation in a VEECO Spectre Ion Beam Sputtering(IBS) vacuum coating chamber for optical thin film coatings. we had to switch to a larger super high torque model so we removed this one and no longer need it. You get eveything shown in the pics. It is basically an aluminum mount and companion gera to drive a ferrofluidic feed through to turn a shutter, mask or some other vacuum chamber function. I remember this motor working fine when i removed it so it should still be, However that said and taking into account tha nature of used lab equipment going into custom configurations this is sold AS IS with no guarentee of function(partly ... moredue to the fact that i cannot be sure it is being installed correctly) so please take this into acount.
