I AM FORCED TO RELIST THIS SWAN MARK II RF AMPLIFIER. I just added FREE SHIPPING to anywhere in the lower 48 States via FedEx Ground. This is a beautiful vintage Swan Mark II RF Amplifier. It comes with its matching power supply. Both the RF Amplifier and the Power Supply have been restored. The cost of the Electrolytic Capacitors in the Power Supply alone was $25.00 each for a total of $200.00. All diodes and resistors were also changed out in this Power Supply rebuild. The cabinets of both the amplifier and the power supply were Powder Coat painted with the same style Crinkle paint as Swan used. This Powder Coat paint is tough and much ... moreless susceptible to scratches and chips. I also installed a new long power cord to the power supply and along with the extra long cable that goes to the amplifier. It can be put a good ways from the transceiver that will be driving it. I no longer have a 1-30 MHz style transceiver to drive this amplifier so I couldn't take pictures of it putting out power but I did include a picture showing its voltage to the cable with the meter on the amplifier. The meter shows about 1700 VDC and I believe that the manual shows that it should have around 1500 VDC. The pictures showing the 3-500Z tubes also show lithe amplifier under power with the tubes lit up. While the amplifier has been restored with most parts replaced and it is currently working, I can not guarantee that it will continue to work due to the age of some of the primary parts that were not replaced. The 2 RF tubes shown do come with this amplifier/power supply. They are used but they still put out good power. I don't believe that this pair of 3-500Z tubes had much use on them when I put them away some years ago. I have tested this computer to be in excellent working condition. All of the keyboard keys work. Both joystick ports work, the power port works, and the RF, video, serial, and cassette ports all work. Video and audio output, through both the RF and video ports, is pristine and clean. The pictures only show video oddities because my camera doesn't like to take pictures of monitors. I tested the cassette port by connecting a tape drive and loading Attack of the Mutant Camels, and I tested the serial port by connecting a disk drive and loading M.U.L.E. I have not tested the expansion or user ports, because I don't have anything that connects to them. But I would be surprised if they are not working. You are look at Heathkit matching test equipment set of 5 pieces. As you can see from the photos, they are in very good shape. This sale is for just the 5 pieces and not the other equipment that I used to demonstrate that they are working. The 5 pieces are as follows. IG-5282 audio sine wave/square wave signal generator. Look at the scope pictures, both the sine wave and square wave functions work. IPA-5280, the power supply that powers all the test equipment, works great. IG-5280 RF signal generator, please look at the photos again, the output works great. It can also be modulated with the internal AF 1 kilo hertz generator that is built in and also has a audio output to drive something else. The IM-5284 Multimeter measures AC OR DC VOLTAGE, resistance and DC milliamps. The Power supply has 4 outputs. One for each piece of test equipment ... moreand will power them all at the same time. The outputs are plus and minus 9 VDC. Each of the pieces of test equipment also has connectors and holders inside for two 9 VDC batteries. There is a switch on the rear of each piece to switch from Battery operation or AC power supply operation so all of this test equipment can be used remotely without AC power. Each piece also has a compartment on top to store things in, cables, connectors, etc. All the equipment works. But need to be calibrated. I have included the instructions on how to calibrate and adjust all the equipment, there is a picture of the instructions I am supply them with. All the equipment works as you can see from the pictures. The AF AND RF GENERATORS outputs are on the oscilloscope. The MULTIMETER is connected to a 9 volt battery.
