Hair loss and a number of other things- It does work so far as the light goes on and it makes a buzzing sound but havent tried anything further than that. I have read that it shouldnt be used near things like heart pacemakers etc as it disrupts them etc. This item is really quite attractive with all of the implements still with it. the case closes with a couple of marks on it as per photo. Vintage RCA Electron Tubes Cracked Ice Magnifying Top Pencil
What a neat old pencil! It has multi purposes. In addition to being a good working writing instrument that uses standard(neither fat; nor skinny) lead it can also be used as a magnifying glass(the top) and as a locator for the tubes used in old electronic items such as radios and televisions. Note the cracked ice barrel.that dates the pencil to the early 1940's perhaps late 1930's. Pencil has a gold trim clip and cone but I could find no maker's mark. I suspect it is a Dur-O-Lite as the eraser holder configuration closely resembles a Dur-O-Lite. Pencil measures 5 5/8" long from stem to stern(Go Navy) and is about 7/16" in diameter. The three bands just below the ball on the clip are all movable and can be located at any position on the barrel circumference.Lettering/logo/numbers are all clear. Here are a pair of small amps for restoration. First there's a early 80s Pi gnose in great cosmetic condition but needs to be repaired. The obvious this I see is that one of the power wires from the batteries is disconnected and needs to be reattached. I don't see anything else that looks out of place but I can't be sure that is the only problem. The Little Giant is a super cool amp. I have one that is working and it sounds fantastic. Way better than a Champ. This one doesn't power on and I'm pretty sure that is because the caps are completely dried out(they are over 40 years old) The amp is complete except for one tube(12SQ7) It comes with a good 50L6 and a 35Z5. These are being sold as is for repair.

RARE Vintage 1950's RCA Electron Tube Lighted Clock Sign - NO RESERVE
Up for auction is a very rare 1956 RCA Electron Tube Authorized Dealer lighted clock sign. The reason I say it is rare is that I can't find one that has been sold on EBAY and when I did a Google image search I couldn't find one! The inside is stamped December 7. 1956. Also. I have changed the ballast. There is a hole on the back to hang this on a nail or two clasps on the top that you can attach a chain(see pics) Size: 18 3/4" L X 11" W Condition: The minute hand is looser than the hour hand but does not effect functionality. The second hand is missing about a 1/4 inch or paint. There is a spot of solder on the right side part of the sign(see pic)and a cut on the left side of the plastic(doesn't go all of the way through the plastic) but you cannot see either of these from the front Other than that this is a great item. ... moreave any questions.
