Here is my web site(still under construction) For auction is a John Deere 3 row planter equipped with model 7000/ 7100 row units. Planter is in good condition. Row width is set at 30" but could be adjusted. This is a 3 point mounted planter with cat 1 pins. Brackets are bolted on and are adjustable. Pins on brackets are low enough so that planter can be raised high enough out of the ground. Even for lower compact tractors. Seeding depth is adjustable with the quick adjust T handle. Planter has new truvee openers and dual guage wheels for accurate seed placement. Press wheels have adjustable down pressure. Seed tubes have sensors installed so that if a monitor wanted to be added at a later date. It could easily be done. This is a wheel driven plateless planter with factory transmission. Boxes have corn meters installed. Can be fitted ... morewith optional soybean or milo meters. Takes about a minute per row to change. I can exchange the corn meters for soybean meters if wanted. options: 1) I can install insecticide boxes(rear box that sets behind the seed box) for $100 per row. These could also be used for planting small seeds like turnips. 2)I can install a insecticide box that has been altered to apply fertilizer for $250 per row. 3)I can also add furrow openers for $100 per row. These are the disc blades that set in a v formation in front of each opener. They are used for clearing trash and clods out of the way for the seed opener to run on a level surface. This planter is heavier than the 71 flex. Coupled with dual down pressure springs this planter will notill in most conditions. It will also plant in tilled conditions. Planter is simple to operate. The 7000 series is known for being well built and dependable. This would be the perfect size for food plots or the smaller farmer. I have been around John Deere planters all my life and have been farming even longer: I will try to help answer any questions about farming you may have. All information in the manuals is completely legible- there are no missing stuck or illegible pages. Although I am not completely sure of the dates. There is a"5-50" on the lower left of rear cover- I would assume this to be 1950? The Nos. 55 and 55-R combines manual has a 11-51 on the lower left of the rear cover- 1951? These dates are visible in photos. Due to the similar appearance I would assume them all to be close in age. Manuals are heavily soiled with dirt& oil. (1) ONE Vintage Antique John Deere Wheel Hub & Chain Sprocket for 494a Planter?
Up for auction is ONE John Deere wheel hub stamped with what I believe to be B12506-B. The hub will come as shown. Including the sprocket stamped B12120B, washers and bolt/nut. I could not find a hit on the part number stamped on the hub, but the number stamped on the sprocket seems to be related to a 60s/70s 494a planter, but I have no way to confirm this. I personally do not know what these came off of, and I have no experience with farm machinery. These were attached to some rims I bought that had tractor tires I needed for my demolition derby car. He would not sell me just the tires, so I ended up having to buy the rims and hubs as well. One of the hubs is in good working condition, the other would need to have both bearings replaced as they appear to be stuck. Using a part number from the hub I took off of them, they most likely came from a 60s/70s planter? I do not know anything about farm equiptment. John Deere SeedStar Planter harness and controller
I am selling this gray control box and wiring harness that i took off of my john deere planter. It had hydraulic drive that was ran by the original greenstar monitor. But i wanted to go to the newer greenstar on the touchscreen monitor so i had to take this off. It does have a few splices in a couple harnesses running to the seed tubes. FOR SALE IS A JOHN DEERE M2000 ELECTRONIC PLANTER/SEED MONITOR. IT IS A 6-ROW MODEL. I USED IT WITH JOHN DEERE MODEL 33 VEGETABLE PLANTERS FOR PLANTING ONIONS AND WITH MODEL 71 FLEXI-PLANTERS FOR CORN. SUGAR BEETS, SAFFLOWER AND SUNFLOWERS. I HAVEN'T USED IT FOR ABOUT 5 YEARS. IT WORKED FINE THEN. I CONNECTED IT TO A 12 VOLT POWER SUPPLY. ALL 6 ROW LAMPS CAME ON WHEN THE SWITCH WAS TURNED ON. I HAVE NO OTHER WAY TO FURTHER TEST IT. THE POWER WIRES HAVE BEEN CUT OFF TO ABOUT 2 FEET LONG. THERE ARE SOME CRACKS IN THE INSULATION ON THE POWER WIRES AND ON THE MONITOR DATA CABLE. THIS MONITOR IS BEING SOLD AS IS.
