up for sale is a vintage carved cedar jewelry box with mirror measuring 10 3/4" long. 4" tall and 6" deep. it has a slight dome lid with a country house, trees and duck scene on top. the hinges are brass. the inside is in very nice condition but the mirror has lost a little bit of its glare. there is a small chip to the wood on top and a small chip to the country scene. these areas are shown with the pen in the last photos. the back of the box has some white wood discoloration that i did not try and remove. any questions please ask and thanks for looking

this is a stunning vintage hand carved wooden convex wall mirror. it is a very large mirror and has a wonderful gold gilt finish. the mirror is circular and has a convex domed shape. the top is a large very ornate eagle with wings spread. He stands on the mirror with a long olive leaf in hand. the mirror has many dimensional spheres running around the whole border of the frame. the bottom also has very dimensional ornate detailing with a stylized floral design. the frame measures 30 3/4 by 22 1/2 inches. already has a hanging wire on the back ready for mounting. it is in great shape and no pieces missing. the actual convex mirror is fading a bit but still does work as a mirror. It gives it a nice vintage look. Antique Victorian Small Dresser Shaving Vanity Mirror Dome Topped Wood Frame
Very heavy for its size Victorian dome topped beveled mirror with wooden frame. The mirror has the shape and looks of a vanity or dresser mirror. We cannot see however any evidence on the sides that it was indeed suspended inside a base or stand. The wooden frame is domed at the top and curved at the corners without any visible joints any where that we can see. We are not sure what kind of wood the frame is made of but our guess based on its color is"cherry" The back of the mirror is almost entirely covered with a heavy flat piece of wood which is screwed at the edges holding the mirror in place. The mirror is beveled and looks very old and hand cut. The normal age stains or discoloration are showing through. And these only add to its character. The wood frame is in very good antique condition with only two areas showing a small ... morehairline crack. These are hardly visible. This pretty mirror features a japanese girl in a kimono looking at a beautiful pagoda on one side and on the other is a mirror. This round mirror is 9 1/2" in diameter and has a thin pink plastic finish all the way around the edges. The scene in the back has what looks to me like a plastic/acrylic thin some shaped protective coverings. The mirror is suspended by a single tassel like string. The actual decorative tassels on each side does show some wear. Made in Japan. This previously owned pretty decorative mirror is in good condition. The mirror looks nice and shiny. The decorative side is nice and clean.

Antique Shaker Wooden Box, Inlaid Dome-Top Cover, Mirror, Lock & Keyhole
This antique Shaker box has a dome-shaped cover with inlaid dark and light colored wood. The sides are covered with mahogany veneer over pine. The box has a mirror on the inside cover. The inside of the box is lined with blue paper. And there is green checked paper around the mirror. The box has a lock and keyhole, but key is not available. It is in all original used condition with discoloration on the paper lining, and it has some scratches and damage to the veneer. This box was handmade by Shakers during the mid to late 1800s for use as a sewing box; however, it would make a great dresser box to store jewelry, documents or trinkets.
