This auction is for NINE VINTAGE BRASS& STONE DOORKNOBS. Their condition varies from average to good for the age. The black stone ones have minor chips and scratches. While the metal ones need cleaning. Several have attached rods. See Photos. One pair has an old decorated plastic cover on one side and a simple plain brass knob on the other. The plastic side is labeled"Novelty Trim, NY" Underneath the cover is a plain brass similar to the other side. The second pair are matching decorative knobs. The pair appear to be cast iron. A third pair of knobs is all black stone with iron metal bases. One side is missing the screw needed to hold it to the rod. The stone shows signs of use. The 3 single knobs are various types. The first is a white stone with a metal base and a rod. The stone needs cleaning and shows some signs of wear ... morebut has no chips or cracks. The second single knob is oblong, about 2 1/2" by 1 1/2" The metal is possibly iron and it has a simple decorative front. The final knob is a decorative brass. It also needs clean-up.
