This is a Whitney No. 9 universal button punch. Made for leak free mechanical joining of sheet metal. Up to 3 layers of 20 ga. sheet metal. Dimples the metal without piercing it. Used for the roofing and ductwork fabrication industry. As well as custom sheet metal work. The head swivels 360 degrees. And can be locked in place if desired. Working end is offset 30 degrees for easy use and a clear view. Looks to be in good to very good condition. I tryed it on the pieces of sheet metal seen in the picture. Worked as it should. Dimple depth can be adjusted either by feel or by adjusting a nut on threaded shaft to adjust depth of jaws. The anvils and working ends are in very good condition. Length: About 26" length.
