I picked this Dedham Pottery Pitcher up at a tag sale because I just thought it was adorable and I was into collecting pitchers. It does appear to have a crack when you look at the inside near the spout. I did buy it like this. The crack is not noticeable when the pitcher is used as decoration. I have taken close up pictures to show the crack both inside and out(please note the others lines on the inside are just part of this crackling design) Besides the crack this pitcher is in very good condition, there are no repairs or crazing. I have had it since 1991 and used it every Easter for about 10 years and then it was used as a decorative display on top of my kitchen cabinets. This is dishwasher safe and oven safe. I baked a casserole(without the lid) each Easter and used the lid to keep it warm and as a festive decoration on the table.
