The granite top was put on about 6 years ago it's like brand new. It's 68 inches long by 36 inches wide and is 1 1/4 inch thick. This is a heavy piece. The vintage table it sits on is actually a large desk with two draws it was made by Herkimer N.Y. 6633. The wood veneer on top of the table where the granite sits needs to be redone. This table is also very heavy.Very well made solid wood and dove tail draws,they don't make furniture like this anymore.The rest of the table is solid and in great shape,see photo's,it would look unbelievable if you refinished it I never got around to it. Would like to sell the two pieces together the Granite top and the table will separate the two if need be. This is a pick up only!

It is a beautifully handpainted enameled ware teapot or kettle that stands approximately 10" tall and 8" around the belly. The shape is called Louis Phillipe because that was the period it was made. Approximately 170 years ago. It has a raised floral design that is in remarkable shape considering how old it is. The interior shows its real age, however. There is a lot of rusting on the inside so it would have to be for decorative purposes only. Please see photos for greater detail. Country of Manufacture: France. Age: Circa 1930-1948. ENGLAND SEMI-PORCELAIN"ELITE" RSN N o 267185(see close-up pic provided) There is also a number"12" stamped in brown paint on the bottom. AN"11" inscribed into the pottery at bottom. And the potter's personal number hand-inscribed into the pottery by the potter underneath the ... moredomed cover which reads"R 15" or similar) This piece was hand-made and well-made, handcrafted in 1895-nearly 120 years ago when pottery making was considered an art form and pride was taken in the quality craftsmanship which is reflected in this piece. There is a lovel y curled and stylized finial at top of the domed cover with raised relief of wheat and/or leaves(see closeup pics included) This brown transferware is definitively art nouveau in period and design with elaborate patterning of flowers. Vines, scrolls, geometric Asian-inspired half circle shapes, and dots(see pics) These pieces are all-original with no repairs or restoration and as suc h show the wear and color variations. Abrasions, and crazing signs of age. Exceptional top quality antique damask"granite" table cloth and 11 matching napkins. The extra long table cloth measures 115" x 79" Central rectangle 30" wide with 4 rows of drawn thread work inside of which are 2 monograms. 35" apart. When holding the cloth to the light I found a pin head hole and a small break in weave(photographed) One cartwheel corner has a loose stitch. Each napkin measures 29½" x 27" and has a 6/8" hem with pulled thread work. Further in 2½" is a double row of thick pulled thread work. The quality of the SC monogram stitching is incredible(see photos) Each is expertly hand sewn satin stitch about 1½" square. Some name tapes stuck on one or two of the napkins. 2400g

Granite Gear Pulk Sled
I know. The season's almost over, but if you're interested in an easier way to haul gear over the snow, a pulk sled is the way to go. I bought this new 4 years ago but don't take it out enough to justify keeping it. Still looks like new. It's 5 feet in length and 19 inches at the widest point. The bottom has molded in runners for easier travel and track-ability. On the rear is a piece which acts like a brake. Here we have a smaller divided bowl or dish made by Blue Mountain Pottery. In the stunning granite glaze. It could also be used as an ashtray. This is a gorgeous little piece with deep purpley-blues and smokey grey on a black base. Measures approx. 8 1/4" in length, 5 1/2" across at the widest point and is 1 3/4" deep.
