Nice eBay find for the radio restoration project this summer. A VINTAGE Heathkit Capacitor and Resistor Tester WORKS! New cord as the original was badly deteriorated. These are used to"test/verify" a rating for a capacitor or a resistor is of the proper rating. I have another one(EICO 950) that I use frequently and they are very handy to test radio circuit components. The unit is in very good condition and only minor surface imperfections which come from normal use and age. Components tested: a 15K ohm resistor(rang up right on value) A.1 paper capacitor(rang up slightly off value) and a 47mfd electrolytic capacitor(rang up slightly off value) Test leads not included but readily available.
