This plunge router is as easy to adjust for router table use as it is for freehand work. An advanced micro height adjuster allows the operator to manually adjust the bit depth to within 1/128-inch. Even when installed in a router table. The trigger switch locks on, allowing the use of the master switch on top of the motor for easier access. The micro height adjust can also be used to set a depth stop for plunging during freehand work. A unique depth stop rod allows selection of multiple stops without letting go of the handles. This is a Wilson Art 1/4-inch Dado Cutter Base for a Porter-Cable 690 Router. Why“1/4-inch” is indicated is a mystery to me as the hole in the base is 2 1/8-inch. It was used a bit so has a few scratches on the bottom; nothing major. It was used with round-over router bit with a bearing. This is a high-quality based that is quite heavy for its size that could be used for a variety of uses. This router base measures 14-inches by 6-inches by ½-inch. The hole in the base is 2 1/8-inch. The base is made of two pieces of plastic; the top piece appears to be phenolic. The bottom piece is a very dense very slippery plastic. Used PorterCable Lot Found just last weekend at open market Plunge Router type 2 and a heavy duty type 5 motor with a 1/4“ Dado Cutter. Both units missing powercord end but they looked to be good used condition. Tested with spare cord end and the 7539 ran well at veritable Speeds. Also it does have a few used features the bottom rubber and center piece missing(unsure if can be used without the piece but probablycan be bought at dealership) and depth bolt or Knob missing, The other motor didn’t work with cord end replaced. no response at all, no noise or spark or movement( Cord end removed promptly and never tried again) missing tightening bolt on the side dado cutter appeared to be in good shape.
