Eshed Robotec Scorbot ER IX Robotic Arm For sale- an Eshed Robotec Scorbot ER IX Robotic Arm. I have two. Price is for one including a Teaching Pendant and a Controller B ATS ver. 2.0. Also comes with the stand that you see it mounted on in the first picture. I see other Scorbot arms listed but none as beefy as this one. I believe I saw while researching it that it had a capacity of 2Kg. I would assume that might be dependent on the gripper used, in this case it appears to be a Zaytran 250psi pneumatic model. This was purchased from a community college. And fortunately I was able to get by and take a look at them before buying, as there was no certainty from their description that the controller and teaching pendant were part of the deal. The woman that showed them to me said that she didn’t think they had ever been used. My initial assumption ... morewas that perhaps they were a corporate donation. But she said no, the college had bought them new but the course they were going to be used for never got off the ground. So they have been shuffled around for years from room to room and finally into storage and then sold. So they have NEVER been slaving away in a production facility 24/7. I don’t know if this arm is rated for continuous duty or whether it is just a really beefy instructional arm like some of the smaller stuff I have had over the years. It looks like to me they have at least been tried out somewhere along the way. So I won’t call them new. But they are about as new as you are going to get and not pay full retail for them. It sounds like the most work they have ever really done is collect dust. I was also told that the manuals came with them. But I haven’t actually seen those, the professor in charge wasn’t there that day. At this point I have not retrieved them. I assume they come off of the mounting base but not sure if that will make them easier to transport or not. So it might be a couple of weeks before I round them up.
