Pneumatic Robot Gripper Arm
Pneumatic gripper arm from a sprue picker robot originally used on injection molding machines. This unit has an integral air cylinder that closes the gripper arms. Built in return springs, and a SUNX GLX-8F-R proximity sensor wired into the housing that can be used to confirm closure of the jaws(if desired) This is from a Conair Martin sprue picker recently removed from service. The jaws are modular and could be modified for other applications by machining the current aluminum jaws or replacing them with custom attachments.
