Hi I think this is a construction or rigging shackle as that is the information I can find about it. I have not found a name on it but looked up the largest one on the Crosby sight and the largest one they had was a 55 ton 2-1/2 inch shaft(this one is almost 3" for the pin) for about $800.00 and theirs weighted 55 pounds(this one is about 75-80#s)so this is a little bigger then that. This is about 16-1/2 to 17" inches long. Some dings from being used but in good working order. The screw pin goes in and out as it should. This is a really big shackle and weights about 80 pounds all together. I will have to ship these seperate as I am over the limit(70pounds) for the weight at the post office. Shipping will be a flat rate of 50.00 and if it comes to more than that i will put in the rest and if a lot less a refund will be given. This Crosby-Laughlin Open Hook 4-Way Spreader has four 1/2" wire rope/cables that measure 4 feet long. The four Crosby-Laughlin open hooks are numbered"SWL3T" One hook has a slight curvature but nothing that would affect its function. One cable also has a couple of broken wires. But again, nothing that would affect its function. The master ring measures 11" long by 7" wide by 1-1/4" thick. This 4-Way Spreader is in great shape for its vintage age. Here is a VERY lightly used Crosby 2 inch 35 ton shackle. It has 90% or so of the original paint. I see no wear marks( where heavy cables had dug in, nor bumps, or nicks) whatsoever on it. I dont actually know if it was ever used. Or just sat around and started a few rust spots. It is perfectly straight and the threads are perfect. A new one costs approximately $330. You can look at the pictures and judge for yourself. It is quite heavy duty, as it weighs over 44 pounds. I have several other shackles I will be listing in the next few days.
