Up for sale are 5 clovis type 3.25 ton crosby steel shackles. I bought roughly 200 assorted steel shackles from bethlehem steel in baltimore. I am working on the assumption that Beth steel used only good quality shackles. I have sold roughly 25 assorted shackles and so far the feedback has been positive. Here is a large used Crosby Laughlin SWL hook and a large clevis. The hook measures approx. 10" from top to bottom. Weighs about 11.5 lbs. together. The bolt on the clevis is rusty. Yes. I am back in the shackle business. At the latest Bethlehem Steel auction there were several lots of shackles for sale. Someone outbid me on the giant(30ton) shackles, yet left me a ton of these smaller shackles, eyebolts and clamps. I also bought over 1000 industrial wrenches. don't ask me why) My wife thought I was crazy before but now she definitely wants to commit me. For sale are five crosby shackles. They are marked 3 1/4 tons and 5/8 inch. Please note* My original plan was to take pictures of the five shackles for sale and then relist them with new pictures. Some buyers are particular about the look of the shackles. This is taking too much time so I am changing tactics. I have fifty four of these shackles(so far) The pictures show the range of condition the shackles are in. Some look newer than others. Used Crosby 7 1/2 Ton Hook in good functional used condition. Hook has safety latch option. No rust. Only a little worn paint. Hook is on a 7 foot 8" long Bulldog Lift Choke. Choke has some wear in ring at top and as seen in pictures. The wear on the choke hasn't compromised the integrity of its strength though(minimal rubbing wear) Choke has Bulldog lift stamped multiple times down it.
