Yes. I am back in the shackle business. At the latest Bethlehem Steel auction there were several lots of shackles for sale. Someone outbid me on the giant(30ton) shackles, yet left me a ton of these smaller shackles, eyebolts and clamps. I also bought over 1000 industrial wrenches. don't ask me why) My wife thought I was crazy before but now she definitely wants to commit me. For sale are five crosby shackles. They are marked 3 1/4 tons and 5/8 inch. Please note* My original plan was to take pictures of the five shackles for sale and then relist them with new pictures. Some buyers are particular about the look of the shackles. This is taking too much time so I am changing tactics. I have fifty four of these shackles(so far) The pictures show the range of condition the shackles are in. Some look newer than others. From back when stuff was MADE, TO-puropse only then was price a consideration. If you don't like to trust the new'steel' this one is for you. Appears that if is intended for cable/rope diameter up to 5.8" Would receive 3/4" Butr may not next-down ideally. See photos, your call. Groove is 7/8" at top/outer. A beefy 4" thick. Zirc fitting provision one side. Or so it appears. Sheave is free and smooth, clevis and latch are free, etc. 17" overall length. This has some weight.
