They weigh over two ounces each, they are over two inches long, the smallest parts of the bands the eyes are made out of are 3/16"s inch wide and they get wider, up to a quarter of an inch at the ends of the eyes. that is where there is some signs of wear. The button part that connects the two parts looks to be in perfect working order, nice and tight and undamaged looking. While the material is an old fashioned anti-rust kind of metal made for ships, softer than stainless steel, maybe brass? I believe these are for running lines or cables in order to give them some leighway or twist and give. big sturdy old and vintage they are both marked with the number 2, I don't know if that is just the size or something to do with a weight limit I don't see any other markings on them.

Any these are old turnbuckles that are about 7" long plus the bolts in them. On one end the oblong eye's are 1 1/2" and on the other end the clevis is 1 5/8" by 1' One end of the turnbuckle with the clevis is marked CL and the other end is marked 3 over 8. Both are identical.
