Vintage Porcelain Street Sign PORTLAND OREGON "S.E.42nd Ave."
This is a street sign from Portland. Oregon. At least 60 years or older. I've been told that most of these signs did not'survive' the metal drives of WWII; and after that, technology enabled a more efficient and less costly method of sign production, so these signs are fairly rare. I found this in my barn when I bought the property about 16 years ago. I kept it stored and recently took it down while doing some early'spring barn cleaning. Assume the older couple who first bought the property. Then built the barn brought this with them. Portland, OR road maintenance confirmed sign was from Portland, OR. Weighing over 2 lbs. This sign measures 20" in length and 4" in width.

The William Jameson Irish American brand was in the 1930's when they were mixing the pot Irish whiskey and the distilled American straight whiskey. Sign measures 8 1/2 inches long 4 1/2 inches tall and 1/4 inch thick. Made out of several layers of board. Cardboard on the back to hang or stand the sign up has not been opened. COCA COLA COKE SODA FOUNTAIN GUMBALL CANDY PEANUT VENDING MACHINE SIGN
This is a nice ATLAS MASTER gum machine which has been themed in Coca Cola. The ATLAS MASTER was manufactured in 1951 and it has a coin mechanism which takes either a PENNY for one turn of the handle or a NICKEL for five turns of the handle. The machine has a tall GLASS globe with the original ATLAS MASTER PENNY- NICKEL decal on the front of it. Above the decal it says COCA COLA in RED letters and below the ATLAS decal is the COCA COLA SPRITE BOY with a bottle of COKE. On each side of the globe is a nice COCA COLA bottle cap logo. It has the original chrome lid and it comes with the lock and key. The key fits both the lid and the front door lock. It stands 17 in tall by 7 in wide.The front of the machine is CHROME as is the gum chute cover. There is some pitting to the chrome due to being 63 years old. Here is a quite rare vintage china store shelf sign for Leigh Ware from Leigh Potters in Alliance. Ohio. Leigh was open from circa 1926 to 1931. The sign has a small 1/16 inch wide chip on top side corner. See last photo. Nothing much really but noted for accuracy. It has light crazing to the glaze all over but nothing objectionable.It is otherwise in excellent condition with no further chips, cracks or repairs. It measures aprox. 3 9/16 inches wide by 5 1/16 inches long. It stands about 2 5/16 inches tall. This would be near or at the top of any collection of this ware. In the U.S. I accept Paypal only. Nice vintage 1950's porcelain door push bar or machine pump sign. Great used shape with some chips and a little rust started on both sides. Sign is made of a heavy porcelain enamel and has a nice shine left to finish. May clean up a little better. Measures around 4" x 18" inches and all the mounting holes have been used and have a little damage. Not the greatest but a good example. Shipping will cover all charges.
