Antique Dress Form Mannequin Vtg Adjustable Size Cloth Body Metal Base
Up for consideration is a very nice old vintage dress form mannequin. Fully adjustable cloth covered formed body with metal base. Unique design. I haven't seen one quite like this before. The last photo shows underneath and inside how it looks and the bolts that can be adjusted. Little tabs on the outside all over that can be pressed to adjust the size easily. Will easily adjust down and base will fold together for easy storage, or use for a display. Great condition with no tears or breaks. Some discoloration to the fabric as it was partially covered in areas so there is color variation. Looks like the top has a bolt missing which could be easily be replaced. Base shows some paint loss and signs of wear. A really great dressmakers adjustable form or display piece in nice condition, offered at a great price! GREAT USED CONDITION! THIS FORM IS ADJUSTABLE! I don't have the exact measurements. This form is very adjustable. It has separate wire mesh sides that connect with buttons on the front and back. Each extending rod is adjustable so expanding the form any direction is possible by just pulling the wire mesh sides away from each other. Each rod has individual slots to lock in certain lengths for different measurements of the form. The form as it originally measured 30" tall. 35" around the waist and 40" around the chest. Cool wooden mannequin hand all parts are movable as you can see in the photos there is discoloration and could use a good cleaning and one surface crack on the top of the hand but this is only on the surface doesn't affect anything. Big right hand 12" tall 3 3/4" wide i am not sure what kind of wood it is made from. Feels heavier than pine but it might be. Antique/Vintage male form mannequin torso. From early 1900's. It is thick pressed cardboard, fabric covered. It's mounted on wood to an adjustable, chrome plated heavy metal stand, that goes up and down easily with the turn of a metal knob. The mannequin stands evenly on the floor surface, it doesn't rock. It's in very good, clean condition. No major tears, holes or cracks, it does have about 1/2 dozen small holes in the gray fabric, which are a result of use over the years. There is no name brand on this handsome guy. The gray fabric is intact and is not loose anywhere. It's been in a non smoking. Non pet hair, non musty environ. The mannequin torso measures 26" in length. We've had this mannequin in our home for a number of years.we've affectionately named him"Calvin Kline" Since our last name ... moreis Kline. Vintage Modern Sculpture Cast Metal Torso Miniature Mannequin Dress Form 14"
For your consideration a cast alloy metal. Sculptural, female torso. 14 inches tall by 7-1/2 inches at the widest and 4-1/4 inches deep. It weighs just under 4 pounds. It may have been lightly anodized a dark silver tarnish. It has been used for something other than a sculpture there is evidence of markings, of things being stuck or glued to it. The white stripe across the breasts was applied with what looks like Elmer's Glue which can be removed easily. It has no cracks or chips just surface brush marks and stains as well color losses and some stains. By the looks of the inside of the casting it may have some age possibly dating back to the 1960's or 70's. It's a nice piece not hard to look at. Vintage 1950s 60's Acme Fully Adjustable Mannequin Size B Dress Form VERY SOLID
I am sad to see her go. But I need the room. I purchased this mannequin about 15 years ago. Because I thought I would sew. But I didn't. So. I wired her as a floor lamp, and used different hats for the lampshade. I would find these amazing vintage dresses at thrift shops and dress her in them. Sometimes she would startle my ex- he thought that there was a stranger in the house. Then again. He wasn't that bright. Her metal parts are no longer shiny. And the metal at the neck is a bit rusty. There is a knob that is missing that protrudes from the top of her neck. She used to have a stamp on her chest. And I remember she was a size"B" Measurements: With her adjustments fully closed/smallest size) Bust: 37" Waist: 28" Hips: 39" If you expand her parts. Female Mannequin Dress Form Free Standing Full Size 36-25-36 Height 31'
Full size. Real size female dress form, female mannequin, free standing female dress form, used, in decent condition and has lots of life left in it, the top comes off as pictured. There is a hole in the cover on the back side of the neck, other than that it is in good condition. Some minor marks on the fabric as pictured. Chest circumference is 36 inches, waist circumference is approximately 25 inches, hips(measured at the bottom of the dress form) circumference is 36 inches. The height of the dress form is approximately 31 inches. It comes just as pictured. It does not have a stand/ base, but it can be either free standing or be put onto a standard stand/ base as it does have a hook up for attaching a stand/ base but you have to get a base separately if you don't already have one. ADJUSTABLE DRESS FORM. LG. to XL SIZE SEWING DRESSMAKER MANNEQUIN The bust adjusts from 44 inches to 50 inches. The waist adjusts from 37 inches to 43 inches. And the hips adjust from 46 inches to 52 inches. It is 30 1/4 inches high. 17 inches from the shoulder to the shoulder. It has a pin cushion at the top of the neck. Pins not included. All 12 size adjustment knobs work fine in and out. It will take a 7/8 inch stand. Not included, as my husband made one and it is just to heavy to ship with the form as it may damage it in transit. A 7/8 inch dowel works very well if one is needed. Made in England. But the brand is unknown as there is no mark. I have loved working with this item.
